| CVE-2026-64477 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-27 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86,fs/resctrl: Prevent out-of-bounds access while offlining CPU when SNC enabled The architecture updates the cpu_mask in a domain's header to track which online CPUs are associated with the domain. When this mask becomes empty the architecture initiates offline of the domain that includes calling on resctrl fs to offline the domain. If it is a monitoring domain in which LLC occupancy is tracked resctrl fs forces the limbo handler to clear all busy RMID state associated with the domain. The limbo handler always reads the current event value associated with a busy RMID irrespective of it being checked as part of regular "is it still busy" check or whether it will be forced released anyway. When reading an RMID on a system with SNC enabled the "logical RMID" is converted to the "physical RMID" and this conversion requires the NUMA node ID of the resctrl monitoring domain that is in turn determined by querying the NUMA node ID of any CPU belonging to the monitoring domain. When the monitoring domain is going offline its cpu_mask is empty causing the NUMA node ID query via cpu_to_node() to be done with "nr_cpu_ids" as argument resulting in an out-of-bounds access. Refactor the limbo handler to skip reading the RMID when the RMID will just be forced to no longer be dirty in the domain anyway. Add a safety check to the architecture's RMID reader to protect against this scenario. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63915 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-26 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: hci: fix out-of-bounds read in HCP header parsing Both nfc_hci_recv_from_llc() and nci_hci_data_received_cb() read packet->header from skb->data at function entry without first checking that the buffer holds at least one byte. A malicious NFC peer can send a 0-byte HCP frame that passes through the SHDLC layer and reaches these functions, causing an out-of-bounds heap read of packet->header. The same 0-byte frame, if queued as a non-final fragment, also causes the reassembly loop to underflow msg_len to UINT_MAX, triggering skb_over_panic() when the reassembled skb is written. Fix this by adding a pskb_may_pull() check at the entry of each function before packet->header is first accessed. The existing pskb_may_pull() checks before the reassembled hcp_skb is cast to struct hcp_packet remain in place to guard the 2-byte HCP message header. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63932 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-26 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: chemical: mhz19b: reject oversized serial replies mhz19b_receive_buf() appends each serdev chunk into the fixed MHZ19B_CMD_SIZE receive buffer and advances buf_idx by len without checking that the chunk fits in the remaining space. A large callback can therefore overflow st->buf before the command path validates the reply. Reset the reply state before each command and reject oversized serial replies before copying them into the fixed buffer. When an oversized reply is detected, wake the waiter and report -EMSGSIZE instead of overwriting st->buf. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15767 | 2 Google, Microsoft | 2 Chrome, Windows | 2026-07-25 | 8.8 High |
| Heap buffer overflow in libyuv in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 150.0.7871.125 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside a sandbox via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: High) | ||||
| CVE-2026-45811 | 1 Apache | 1 Nimble | 2026-07-24 | 7.5 High |
| Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') vulnerability in Apache NimBLE. The HCI socket transport did not check whether a received HCI event would fit the configured event pool before copying it, allowing a buffer overflow. Severity is low: exploitation requires either a misconfigured pool size or a malicious/compromised controller on the other end of the HCI socket link, not over-the-air Bluetooth access. This issue affects Apache NimBLE: through 1.9.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.10.0, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-29009 | 2 Denx, U-boot | 2 U-boot, U-boot | 2026-07-24 | 8.2 High |
| U-Boot before 2026.07-rc2 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in nfs_readlink_reply() (net/nfs-common.c) when CONFIG_CMD_NFS is enabled, allowing a malicious or compromised NFS server to overflow the 2048-byte nfs_path_buff buffer by returning multiple relative symlink targets that are appended without cumulative length validation. Attackers can send two or more READLINK responses containing relative symlink targets of approximately 1100 bytes each to corrupt adjacent BSS variables including nfs_server_ip, nfs_server_mount_port, nfs_server_port, nfs_our_port, nfs_state, and rpc_id, potentially achieving memory corruption and control over the NFS client state machine. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56165 | 1 Microsoft | 2 Account, Microsoft Account | 2026-07-24 | 9.8 Critical |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Account allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63828 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-24 | 8.4 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: apparmor: mediate the implicit connect of TCP fast open sendmsg sendmsg()/sendto() with MSG_FASTOPEN is a combination of connect(2) and write(2): it opens the connection in the SYN. apparmor_socket_sendmsg() only checks AA_MAY_SEND, so a profile that grants send but denies connect lets a confined task open an outbound TCP/MPTCP connection that connect(2) would have refused, bypassing connect mediation. Mediate the implicit connect when MSG_FASTOPEN is set and a destination is supplied. Add it to apparmor_socket_sendmsg() (not the shared aa_sock_msg_perm() helper, which recvmsg also uses) and call aa_sk_perm() directly, mirroring the selinux and tomoyo fixes. sk_is_tcp() does not cover MPTCP fast open, so the SOCK_STREAM/IPPROTO_MPTCP arm is explicit. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63818 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-24 | 8.4 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: validate orphan inode entry count f2fs_recover_orphan_inodes() trusts the orphan block entry_count when replaying orphan inodes from the checkpoint pack. A corrupted entry_count larger than F2FS_ORPHANS_PER_BLOCK makes the recovery loop read past the ino[] array and interpret footer or following data as inode numbers. On a crafted image, mounting an unpatched kernel can drive orphan recovery into f2fs_bug_on() and panic the kernel. Validate entry_count before consuming entries so corrupted checkpoint data fails the mount with -EFSCORRUPTED and requests fsck instead. Set ERROR_INCONSISTENT_ORPHAN as well, so the corruption reason can be recorded in the superblock s_errors[] field. This gives fsck a persistent hint even though mount-time orphan recovery failure may leave no chance to persist SBI_NEED_FSCK through a checkpoint. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63815 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-24 | 8.4 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: bound i_inline_xattr_size for non-inline-xattr inodes When the flexible_inline_xattr feature is enabled, do_read_inode() loads the on-disk i_inline_xattr_size unconditionally: if (f2fs_sb_has_flexible_inline_xattr(sbi)) fi->i_inline_xattr_size = le16_to_cpu(ri->i_inline_xattr_size); but sanity_check_inode() only range-checks it when the inode also has the FI_INLINE_XATTR flag set. An inode that carries an inline dentry or inline data but not FI_INLINE_XATTR -- the normal layout for an inline directory -- therefore keeps a fully attacker-controlled i_inline_xattr_size from a crafted image. get_inline_xattr_addrs() returns that value with no flag gating, so it feeds the inode geometry: MAX_INLINE_DATA() = 4 * (CUR_ADDRS_PER_INODE - i_inline_xattr_size - 1) NR_INLINE_DENTRY() = MAX_INLINE_DATA() * BITS_PER_BYTE / (...) addrs_per_page() = CUR_ADDRS_PER_INODE - i_inline_xattr_size A large i_inline_xattr_size drives MAX_INLINE_DATA() and NR_INLINE_DENTRY() negative, so make_dentry_ptr_inline() sets d->max (int) to a negative value. The inline directory walk then compares an unsigned long bit_pos against that negative d->max, which is promoted to a huge unsigned bound, and reads far past the inline area: while (bit_pos < d->max) /* fs/f2fs/dir.c */ ... test_bit_le(bit_pos, d->bitmap) / d->dentry[bit_pos] ... Mounting a crafted image and reading such a directory triggers an out-of-bounds read in f2fs_fill_dentries(); the same underflow also corrupts ADDRS_PER_INODE for regular files. Validate i_inline_xattr_size against MAX_INLINE_XATTR_SIZE whenever the flexible_inline_xattr feature is enabled -- i.e. whenever the value is loaded from disk and consumed -- and keep the lower MIN_INLINE_XATTR_SIZE bound gated on inodes that actually carry an inline xattr, so legitimate inodes with i_inline_xattr_size == 0 are still accepted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53390 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-07-24 | 8.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix out-of-bounds read in smb_check_perm_dacl() The permission-check ACE walk in smb_check_perm_dacl() validates the ACE header size and caps sid.num_subauth at SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES, but it never checks that ace->size is actually large enough to contain num_subauth sub-authorities before compare_sids() dereferences them. CIFS_SID_BASE_SIZE covers the SID header up to but excluding the sub_auth[] array, and offsetof(struct smb_ace, sid) is the ACE header, so the existing guards only guarantee the 8-byte SID base, i.e. zero sub-authorities. compare_sids() then reads ace->sid.sub_auth[i] for i < min(local_sid->num_subauth, ace->sid.num_subauth). The local comparison SIDs (sid_everyone, sid_unix_NFS_mode, and the id_to_sid() result) always have at least one sub-authority, and an attacker controls the ACE revision and authority bytes (which lie within the in-bounds SID base), so they can match one of those SIDs and force the sub_auth read. A crafted ACE with size == 16 and num_subauth >= 1 placed at the tail of the security descriptor therefore causes a heap out-of-bounds read of up to SID_MAX_SUB_AUTHORITIES * sizeof(__le32) bytes past the pntsd allocation. The security descriptor is loaded by ksmbd_vfs_get_sd_xattr() into a buffer sized exactly to the on-disk data (kzalloc(sd_size) in ndr_decode_v4_ntacl()), so the read lands past the allocation. The malformed descriptor can be stored verbatim via SMB2_SET_INFO (the DACL is not normalised before being written to the security.NTACL xattr) and the read fires on a subsequent SMB2_CREATE access check, making this reachable by an authenticated client on a share that uses ACL xattrs. Add the missing num_subauth-versus-ace_size check, mirroring the identical guards already present in the sibling parsers parse_dacl() and smb_inherit_dacl(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-55952 | 1 Erlang | 4 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Erlang\/ssl and 1 more | 2026-07-24 | 7.5 High |
| The Erlang/OTP ssl application does not validate that the PSK identity list and binder list carried in a TLS 1.3 ClientHello pre-shared key extension have equal length before passing them to the session ticket handler. In tls_handshake_1_3:handle_pre_shared_key/3, an OfferedPreSharedKeys record with a mismatched number of identities and binders is forwarded directly to tls_server_session_ticket:use/4, which crashes the session ticket handler process. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a single crafted ClientHello to a TLS 1.3 server with session tickets enabled (stateful or stateless mode) and permanently disrupt session ticket handling on that listener. New TLS 1.3 handshakes complete but subsequently crash when the server attempts to issue a session ticket, effectively making TLS 1.3 unusable on the affected listener until the ssl application is restarted. TLS 1.2 connections are not affected. This issue affects OTP from OTP 22.2 before OTP 29.0.3, OTP 28.5.0.3 and OTP 27.3.4.14, corresponding to ssl from 9.5 before 11.7.3, 11.6.0.3 and 11.2.12.10. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50039 | 1 Mz-automation | 1 Libiec61850 | 2026-07-24 | 7.5 High |
| The affected product is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, which may allow an attacker to cause a memory corruption via a Read Request. | ||||
| CVE-2026-49035 | 1 Mz-automation | 1 Libiec61850 | 2026-07-24 | 8.1 High |
| The affected product is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow via a crafted MMS Initiate request. Remote code execution (RCE) has been demonstrated when ASLR is disabled; memory corruption or denial of service may occur in configurations where ASLR is enabled. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16002 | 1 Mz-automation | 1 Lib60870 | 2026-07-24 | 8.2 High |
| The affected product is vulnerable to an Out-of-bounds read, which may allow an attacker to crash the parsing process and cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59139 | 1 Egor | 1 Data::reqrep::shared | 2026-07-24 | 9.1 Critical |
| Data::ReqRep::Shared versions before 0.05 for Perl allow an out-of-bounds read via an unvalidated arena offset and length in reqrep_recv_locked. The attach-time validator reqrep_validate_header checks the header scalars and region layout against the file size, but does not validate the array contents it then trusts. reqrep_recv_locked does memcpy(copy_buf, req_arena + arena_off, len) with arena_off and len read raw from the mmap'd segment and never bounded against the arena capacity (req_arena_cap). A local peer that can write the backing file can leave the header valid while poisoning a request slot's offset and length, so receiving the request copies a file-controlled offset and length out of the arena, reading adjacent memory or crashing the process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57073 | 1 Codechild | 1 Html::bare | 2026-07-23 | 9.1 Critical |
| HTML::Bare versions through 0.04 for Perl have an unbounded character lookahead. The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "<![CDATA" or element terminators such as ">" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer. Truncated strings such as "<a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read. Note that the latest version available on CPAN is version 0.02. Newer versions are available on the git repository. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57074 | 1 Codechild | 1 Xml::bare | 2026-07-23 | 9.1 Critical |
| XML::Bare versions through 0.53 for Perl have an unbounded character lookahead. The parserc_parse function attempts to check for multicharacter strings such as "<![CDATA" or element terminators such as ">" without checking that the offsets are within the buffer. Truncated strings such as "<a/" can trigger an out-of-bounds read. | ||||
| CVE-2026-45612 | 1 Rizinorg | 1 Rz-libdemangle | 2026-07-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| rz-libdemangle is a Rizin library for demangling symbols. Prior to 6bf56d3, the Rust demangler in src/rust/rust_v0.c can perform an out-of-bounds read when the demangler structure is not yet initialized. This issue is fixed in commit 6bf56d3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59695 | 2 Zenhive, Zenhive | 2 Mpp, Mpp | 2026-07-23 | N/A |
| Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to drain the fee-payer wallet in a single request by naming an arbitrarily high gas price. When the mpp Elixir library is configured as fee payer (fee_payer: true), MPP.Tempo.Transaction.cosign_fee_payer/3 re-signs the client-supplied base fields of the 0x76 AASigned envelope verbatim, including max_fee_per_gas and max_priority_fee_per_gas, without validating that they are within reasonable bounds. A malicious client embeds arbitrarily large values for these fields in the signed envelope. The server co-signs and broadcasts the transaction. The effective_gas_price billed against the fee-payer wallet is derived from the attacker-supplied ceilings, so the server pays those inflated per-gas rates out of its own wallet. A single crafted request can drain the wallet entirely, after which the server can no longer sponsor gas for legitimate payment requests. This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.0. | ||||
