| CVE-2026-18727 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-25 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi's iscsiuio component. This vulnerability involves an integer underflow and out-of-bounds read during Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6) packet parsing. Specifically, crafted DHCPv6 Advertise traffic with a short User Datagram Protocol (UDP) length can cause the DHCPv6 payload length to underflow. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network segment can exploit this by sending specially crafted IPv6 UDP traffic while the client is in an active DHCPv6 exchange, leading to a denial of service due to a process crash or service disruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76235 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Dev Spaces, Openshift Devspaces | 2026-08-25 | 7.5 High |
| A memory leak flaw was found in cockpit-ws. The login page handler leaks a heap allocation on every unauthenticated request that carries a CockpitLang cookie, allowing a remote unauthenticated attacker to exhaust memory on the host and cause a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19685 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 3 more | 2026-08-24 | 7.1 High |
| NetworkManager did not apply the private_user restriction to the 802-1x.ca-path and phase2-ca-path directory-valued connection properties. This incomplete fix for CVE-2025-9615 allows an unprivileged local user to point a private WPA-Enterprise (802.1X) connection profile's CA path at an attacker-controlled directory, bypassing server certificate validation and enabling credential theft via a rogue access point. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73196 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-24 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A low-privilege authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting an oversized One-Time Password (OTP) key value. This oversized key is then decoded and re-encoded without proper size limits, consuming excessive CPU and memory resources. This can lead to a denial of service, degrading the availability of the IPA service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78323 | 1 Redhat | 2 Certificate System, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-24 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in JSS (Java Security Services). The JSSTrustManager class does not verify NSS trust flags when validating CA certificates, allowing certificates present in the NSS database without TRUSTED_CA flags to be accepted as trust anchors for TLS connections. In non-default configurations where certificate revocation checking is disabled, this could allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to forge certificates accepted by PKI client connections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-70906 | 2 Oracle, Redhat | 4 Java Se, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-08-22 | 7.5 High |
| Vulnerability in Oracle Java SE (component: 2D). Supported versions that are affected are Oracle Java SE: 25.0.4 and 26.0.2. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Oracle Java SE. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle Java SE. Note: This vulnerability can be exploited by using APIs in the specified Component, e.g., through a web service which supplies data to the APIs. This vulnerability also applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). | ||||
| CVE-2026-75900 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-21 | 6.1 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in swtpm's SWTPM_NVRAM_CheckHeader() function. The entry guard checks the buffer length against sizeof(bh), where bh is a pointer, instead of sizeof(*bh), the actual struct size. This allows an undersized buffer to pass validation, causing a 2-byte heap overread on 64-bit systems (6 bytes on 32-bit) when accessing the totlen field. This may cause daemon termination on some platforms and leaks heap data to the log. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73199 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the `ipa-enrollment` SLAPI plugin. A remote authenticated client can exploit a null pointer dereference vulnerability by sending a malformed Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) extended operation. By omitting the request value for the `JOIN_OID` in the `ipa-enrollment` extended operation, an attacker can trigger a server crash, potentially causing a denial of service. | ||||

| CVE-2026-75032 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-18 | 6.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in BlueZ. Insufficient validation of packet length fields in GetFolderItems responses within the Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) implementation allows a malicious Bluetooth device within range to cause an out-of-bounds memory read. This vulnerability, affecting the parse_media_element() and parse_media_folder() functions, can lead to a crash of the bluetoothd daemon, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). It could also potentially expose sensitive heap memory contents. Exploitation requires user interaction to pair with the malicious device. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19879 | 1 Redhat | 9 Build Of Apache Camel For Spring Boot, Camel Spring Boot, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2026-08-17 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Undertow, an HTTP server, within its HTTP response header writing path. The `writeString()` method performs a silent narrowing cast from 16-bit Unicode characters to 8-bit bytes when writing HTTP response header values. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying specific Unicode characters in user-controlled input that an application places into response headers. This can lead to the truncation of these characters into ASCII control characters or special symbols, potentially resulting in limited integrity impact or information disclosure if the application does not properly sanitize user input. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18663 | 1 Redhat | 2 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-13 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The get_ldapmessage_controls_ext() function frees the parsed controls array on the Session Tracking critical-control rejection path without clearing the SLAPI_REQCONTROLS pblock slot. Operation teardown then frees the same pointer again, causing a double-free. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger this with a single BIND request carrying a critical Session Tracking control, resulting in heap corruption and potential denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71218 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-11 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in iperf3. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in the `JSON_read()` function, which accepts a peer-controlled message length and allocates memory without an upper bound. This allows the attacker to trigger excessive memory consumption, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) through memory exhaustion, severe slowdown, or termination of the iperf3 service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71217 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-08-11 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in iperf3. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted control-channel JSON with oversized numeric parameters, such as `parallel` and `len`, which are not properly validated by the server. This improper input validation can lead to excessive stream and thread creation, as well as large buffer allocations, causing resource exhaustion. Consequently, this can result in a Denial of Service (DoS) on the affected iperf3 server. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6170 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 9 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 6 more | 2026-08-11 | 2.5 Low |
| A flaw was found in the interactive shell of the xmllint command-line tool, used for parsing XML files. When a user inputs an overly long command, the program does not check the input size properly, which can cause it to crash. This issue might allow attackers to run harmful code in rare configurations without modern protections. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48864 | 2 Opensuse, Redhat | 21 Libsolv, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 18 more | 2026-08-11 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow occurs during the decompression of attacker-controlled compressed data within `.solv` files due to insufficient input validation. An attacker can provide a specially crafted `.solv` file, which, when processed by a vulnerable application, can lead to out-of-bounds memory access. This could result in information disclosure, alteration of program execution, or a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13757 | 2 P11-kit Project, Redhat | 7 P11-kit, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 4 more | 2026-08-11 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in p11-kit. The RPC message attribute parsing functions p11_rpc_message_get_attribute() and p11_rpc_message_get_attribute_array_value() form a mutually-recursive call chain with no recursion depth limit when processing nested CKA_WRAP_TEMPLATE, CKA_UNWRAP_TEMPLATE, and CKA_DERIVE_TEMPLATE attributes. An unauthenticated attacker with local access to the p11-kit RPC Unix domain socket can send a specially crafted request with deeply nested template attributes, causing stack exhaustion and crashing the p11-kit server process and its dependent services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58016 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 14 Glib, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 11 more | 2026-08-11 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A state confusion issue exists in g_dbus_node_info_new_for_xml() in the gio/gdbusintrospection.c file when processing malformed D-Bus introspection XML, specifically with a `node` element nested within other elements like `method`, `signal`, `property` or `arg`. This issue can cause an unsigned integer overflow and lead to an out-of-bounds read, resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-72693 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-08-11 | 7.8 High |
| `openvt -u` is intended to identify the owner of the current VT and then execute `login` as that user from a privileged context. In the documented `kbrequest`/init usage, the ownership test in `authenticate_user()` relies on `stat("/proc/<pid>/fd/0")`. `stat()` on `/proc/<pid>/fd/0` follows the symlink to the underlying TTY device node. As a result, `buf.st_uid` reflects the owner of the TTY node rather than the owner of the process holding the file descriptor. If the TTY owner returns to `root` or the getty owner after logout while an unprivileged process still has `fd 0` attached to that TTY, the check can incorrectly treat that process as belonging to the privileged console owner. Once that check succeeds, the `-u` path executes a passwordless login as the selected user. In the documented `kbrequest`/init deployment using `openvt -us`, this can result in passwordless `login -f root` on the spawned VT. This report establishes that privilege escalation path for that documented deployment; it does not claim equivalent reachability for deployments that do not use `openvt -u` from a privileged `kbrequest`/init path. | ||||
