| CVE-2026-98987 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-29 | 2.3 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: look at the topmost mount for a mount namespace file attach_recursive_mnt() preallocates a mountpoint for the root of the topmost mount of the source so that a mount that already sits at the destination can be put on top of the source or on top of one of its propagated copies. The copies are made without CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE so their chain of overmounts is shorter than the source's. It ends below the first bind mount of a mount namespace file. So while the loop walks up the chain of the source it remembers the mountpoint of that mount in "shorter" and the existing mount is put there for the copies. But the loop ends at the topmost mount without ever looking at it. If the topmost mount is the only mount namespace file in the chain "shorter" stays NULL and mnt_change_mountpoint() attaches the existing mount of the copy below the root of the mount namespace file. That's a dentry of nsfs. No path walk in the copy's mount namespace ever gets there. The mount is gone until its parent goes and the copy that took its place can't be unmounted synchronously because it has a child: S bind mount of a file N bind mount of a mount namespace file on top of S A shared mount, B a slave of A, Q mounted on B/file move_mount(S, A/file) cat B/file -> the content of S instead of Q umount B/file -> EBUSY Look at every mount of the chain including the topmost one. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107347 | 1 Hashicorp | 2 Nomad, Nomad Enterprise | 2026-10-29 | 8.4 High |
| HashiCorp Nomad and Nomad Enterprise are vulnerable to symlink following during dispatch payload and executor log writes that may allow a malicious workload to modify files outside its allocation directory. When the client agent runs as root, this could lead to code execution as root on the client host. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-107347) is fixed in Nomad 2.1.0 and Nomad Enterprise 2.1.0, 1.11.12, and 1.10.18. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42057 | 1 Vtk | 1 Vtk | 2026-10-29 | 7.5 High |
| An invalid pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the vtkPNGReader::vtkPNGReaderUpdate2 functionality of vtk 9.6. A specially crafted .png file can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118776 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 3.7 Low |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used decipher.finish(), CBC and ECB modes, PKCS#7 padding to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge validated only the final byte of PKCS#7 padding during CBC and ECB decryption and accepted zero, oversized, or mismatched padding bytes. Malformed ciphertext could consequently be accepted and up to four plaintext blocks could be silently removed, causing an integrity failure in applications that treated successful decryption as proof of valid padding. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118777 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 4.8 Medium |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the forge.http client stored cookie names and paths from Set-Cookie response headers in ordinary JavaScript objects. A malicious server could use the cookie name __proto__ so that the attacker-controlled cookie path was written as a property on Object.prototype, or use inherited names such as constructor to modify Object. An empty cookie value could use the removal path to delete an inherited Object.prototype property. Applications using forge.http directly or through forge.xhr are affected; applications that do not use forge.http are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118780 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 3.7 Low |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used pki.verifyCertificateChain(), pki.createCaStore(), duplicate subject names to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge modified the CA store while trying certificates that shared a subject name during pki.verifyCertificateChain(). A failed chain verification could permanently remove trusted CA certificates from the store, causing later valid chains to fail and creating a persistent availability impact for applications that reused the store. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118781 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 2.9 Low |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used BigInteger.prototype.modInverse(), bnModInverse(), lib/jsbn.js, RSA public exponent e to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's bundled jsbn implementation entered an infinite loop when BigInteger.prototype.modInverse() received a negative value or modulus. An attacker who could control the RSA public exponent passed to key generation, or a direct modInverse() operand, could block the Node.js event loop at full CPU. Parsed DER, PEM, JWK, PKCS#12, X.509, and TLS values are unsigned and cannot trigger this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118782 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 7.5 High |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge accepted a PKCS#12 MAC or PKCS#12 password-based encryption iteration count of zero or less. pki.pbe.generatePkcs12Key() then returned a constant key independent of the password and salt, allowing crafted PKCS#12 input processed by forge.pkcs12.pkcs12FromAsn1() to bypass password-based integrity checks. Predictable encryption keys and IVs also affected PKCS#12 PBE using pbeWithSHAAnd3-KeyTripleDES-CBC or pbewithSHAAnd40BitRC2-CBC, including shrouded key bags, encrypted SafeContents, and PKCS#8 ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY input processed independently by forge.pki.decryptPrivateKeyInfo(). PBES2/PBKDF2-encrypted content is unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119191 | 1 Digitalbazaar | 1 Forge | 2026-10-29 | 7.5 High |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used asn1.fromDer(), BIT STRING decoding, maxDepth to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge decoded ASN.1 stored inside BIT STRING values without consistently applying the configured maxDepth limit and recursively retained copies at each nesting level. Crafted DER containing nested BIT STRINGs could cause excessive recursion, CPU use, and quadratic memory consumption during asn1.fromDer(). This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119193 | 1 Sebastianbergmann | 1 Phpunit | 2026-10-29 | N/A |
| PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP. From 13.4.0 until 13.4.4, the TestCase::coverageFilesDirectory() logic in src/Runner/Phpt/TestCase.php creates temporary files for PHPT code coverage in a predictable phpunit-phpt directory under sys_get_temp_dir() and reuses that directory without verifying its ownership or permissions. On multi-user systems with a shared temporary path, a local attacker who creates the directory before the developer runs PHPT tests with code coverage can replace the generated job file before the child process executes it with require, allowing arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges while the test and coverage report appear successful. PHPUnit 12.5 and earlier, default macOS and Windows configurations with per-user temporary directories, and single-user environments where another user cannot create files in the temporary path are not affected. This issue is fixed in 13.4.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110074 | 1 Adobe | 2 Adobe Experience Manager, Experience Manager | 2026-10-29 | 5.4 Medium |
| Adobe Experience Manager is affected by a DOM-based Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this issue by manipulating the DOM environment to execute malicious JavaScript within the context of the victim's browser. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must visit a crafted webpage. Scope is changed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90932 | 1 Laradashboard | 1 Lara Dashboard | 2026-10-29 | 7.2 High |
| LaraDashboard versions 0.9.2 through 1.2.2 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the core-upgrade backup handling. CoreUpgradeController and BackupService (e.g. BackupService::deleteBackup()) concatenate the user-supplied backup_file/filename value directly onto the backup directory path without normalisation, without applying basename(), and without verifying that the resolved path remains inside storage/app/core-backups; the corresponding form requests only validate the value as a bounded string. An authenticated user holding only the delegated settings.edit permission (not Superadmin) can supply ../ traversal sequences to delete arbitrary files reachable on the host filesystem, including outside the application tree, or to restore a ZIP archive from an arbitrary on-disk location, writing arbitrary files into the application directories and achieving remote code execution. Note: the advisory states the vulnerable concatenation was introduced in the v0.9.7 release line. Fixed in 1.3.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84807 | 1 Kimai | 1 Kimai | 2026-10-29 | 5.4 Medium |
| Kimai (kimai/kimai) before 2.65.0 contains a business logic / improper authorization vulnerability in the default team creation endpoints. An authenticated user with project permission-management privileges can create or use a customer, project, or activity whose name matches an existing team; because the endpoints POST /api/customers/{id}/team, POST /api/projects/{id}/team, and POST /api/activities/{id}/team reuse an existing team of the same name and add the current user as teamlead without verifying that the user is authorized to manage that team, the attacker gains unauthorized team-lead (administration) rights over the existing team. Fixed in 2.65.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82854 | 1 Nodemailer | 1 Nodemailer | 2026-10-29 | 9.8 Critical |
| Nodemailer before 8.0.4 is vulnerable to SMTP command injection through the unsanitized envelope.size parameter. When an application passes a custom envelope object with a size property containing CRLF characters to sendMail(), the value is concatenated into the SMTP MAIL FROM command (as SIZE=...) without sanitization, allowing injection of arbitrary SMTP commands such as RCPT TO to silently add attacker-controlled recipients. Exploitation requires the application to expose the envelope size to attacker-controlled input, as Nodemailer does not include size in the default auto-constructed envelope. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81694 | 1 Jahlives | 1 Openssl Encrypt | 2026-10-29 | 3.3 Low |
| openssl-encrypt (pip package, versions <= 1.4.8) fails to sanitize filenames read from untrusted drive data (outside the AES-GCM authenticated manifest) before printing them in the verify-usb command's output. An attacker can plant filenames containing terminal cursor-movement and erase-line control bytes that repaint a forged PASSED verdict on screen, masking actual tamper detection. Fixed in 1.4.9 by routing drive-derived names through sanitize_for_display(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-75913 | 1 Hmbown | 1 Codewhale | 2026-10-29 | 9.3 Critical |
| CodeWhale versions >= 0.3.27 and < 0.8.64 (published as deepseek-tui >= 0.3.27 and < 0.8.41 on npm and 0.3.27 through 0.8.41 on crates.io, and as codewhale / codewhale-tui >= 0.8.41 and < 0.8.64) contain an argument injection vulnerability in the git_show tool. The model-supplied rev parameter is passed unvalidated into the git show argv without an --end-of-options sentinel, so a value beginning with --output= is interpreted as a git flag. Because the tool is registered as auto-approved and advertised as read-only, an attacker (via a malicious repository combined with prompt injection) can cause an unprompted arbitrary file write at the privilege of the invoking user, targeting sensitive files such as ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, ~/.bashrc, or ~/.gitconfig. Fixed in codewhale / codewhale-tui 0.8.64 by adding rev validation; the deprecated deepseek-tui crate has no fixed release. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75857 | 1 Hmbown | 1 Codewhale | 2026-10-29 | 7 High |
| CodeWhale versions >= 0.3.10 and < 0.8.64 (published as deepseek-tui >= 0.3.10 and < 0.8.41 on npm and 0.3.10 through 0.8.41 on crates.io, and as codewhale / codewhale-tui >= 0.8.41 and < 0.8.64) contain a vulnerability in the exec_shell_interact (alias exec_interact) tool, whose approval_requirement returns ApprovalRequirement::Auto. This overrides the default Required approval for code-executing tools, so LLM-controlled stdin is written into an already-approved long-running interactive shell (e.g., a python3 -i REPL, mysql, ssh, or sudo -i session) without any approval prompt. An attacker who can inject instructions via untrusted content the agent ingests (a fetched page, MCP result, or repo file) can cause commands to run at the privilege level of that approved process. Fixed in codewhale / codewhale-tui 0.8.64; the deprecated deepseek-tui crate has no fixed release. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73608 | 2 B3log, Siyuan | 2 Siyuan, Siyuan | 2026-10-29 | 8.6 High |
| SiYuan's development branch (endpoint introduced by commit 9b8e8956f, not present in v3.7.3 or master, patched in v3.7.4-alpha.3) contains a missing-authorization vulnerability in the /api/av/getAttributeViewSearchTarget endpoint. The route is registered with CheckAuth only and performs no authorization checks (no CheckReadonly, no publish-access or encrypted-notebook gating). Given a database identifier taken from a published page and a keyword, an anonymous reader can query the endpoint to retrieve matching database row content, including rows that publish filters (FilterAttributeViewByPublishAccess) would otherwise withhold. No released stable version is affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73051 | 1 Actix | 2 Actix-http, Actix-web | 2026-10-29 | N/A |
| actix-http versions before 3.12.1 contain an HTTP request smuggling vulnerability in the HTTP/1.1 parser that accepts requests with both Content-Length and Transfer-Encoding: chunked headers. Unauthenticated remote attackers can exploit this through a front-end intermediary to desynchronize backend requests and smuggle malicious HTTP requests to the Actix service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13717 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Red Hat Openshift Ai (rhoai), Openshift Ai | 2026-10-29 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) MaaS Gateway. Improper configuration of the Gateway in a model-serving context allows a standard user with low privileges to intercept, read, log, and alter all MaaS model traffic. This includes sensitive information such as access keys, input prompts, and outputs, leading to significant information disclosure and data tampering. | ||||
