| CVE-2026-64412 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ebtables: module names must be null-terminated We need to explicitly check the length, else we may pass non-null terminated string to request_module(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-64206 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: cancel pending_rx_work before taking conn->lock l2cap_conn_del() takes conn->lock and then calls cancel_work_sync() for pending_rx_work. process_pending_rx() takes the same mutex, so teardown can deadlock against the worker it is flushing. This issue was found by our static analysis tool and then manually reviewed against the current tree. The grounded PoC kept the l2cap_conn_ready() -> queue_work(..., &conn->pending_rx_work) submit path, the l2cap_conn_del() -> cancel_work_sync(&conn->pending_rx_work) teardown path, and the process_pending_rx() -> mutex_lock(&conn->lock) worker edge. Lockdep WARNING: possible circular locking dependency detected process_pending_rx+0x21/0x2a [vuln_msv] l2cap_conn_del.constprop.0+0x3f/0x4e [vuln_msv] *** DEADLOCK *** Cancel pending_rx_work before taking conn->lock, matching the existing lock-before-drain ordering used for the two delayed works in the same teardown path. The pending_rx queue is still purged after the work has been cancelled and conn->lock has been acquired. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64125 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bcmgenet: keep RBUF EEE/PM disabled Setting RBUF_EEE_EN | RBUF_PM_EN in RBUF_ENERGY_CTRL breaks the RX path on GENET hardware once MAC EEE becomes active. RX traffic stops flowing while the link stays up and the usual descriptor/RX error counters remain quiet. In that state the MAC still accepts frames (rbuf_ovflow_cnt keeps climbing) but RBUF no longer forwards them to DMA, so rx_packets is no longer incremented at the netdev level. On some boards the corruption ends up as a paging fault in skb_release_data via bcmgenet_rx_poll on an LPI exit. Reproduced on Pi 4B (BCM2711 + BCM54213PE) and confirmed by Florian Fainelli on an internal Broadcom 4908-family board with the same crash signature. RBUF_PM_EN is not publicly documented. This shows up more often now that phy_support_eee() enables EEE by default, but it also affects older kernels as soon as TX LPI is turned on via ethtool, so it is not specific to recent changes. Always clear RBUF_EEE_EN | RBUF_PM_EN in bcmgenet_eee_enable_set so the bits stay off across resets. UMAC and TBUF setup is left alone so TX-side EEE keeps working. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53262 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: l2tp: pppol2tp: hold reference to session in pppol2tp_ioctl() pppol2tp_ioctl() read sock->sk->sk_user_data directly without any locks or reference counting. If a controllable sleep was induced during copy_from_user() (e.g. via a userfaultfd page fault sleep), a concurrent socket close could trigger pppol2tp_session_close() asynchronously. This frees the l2tp_session structure via the l2tp_session_del_work workqueue. Upon resuming, the ioctl thread dereferences the stale session pointer, resulting in a Use-After-Free (UAF). Fix this by securely fetching the session reference using the RCU-safe, refcounted helper pppol2tp_sock_to_session(sk) on entry. This locks the session's refcount across the sleep. We structured the function to exit via standard err breaks, guaranteeing that l2tp_session_put() is cleanly called on all return paths to drop the reference. To preserve existing behavior we validate the session and its magic signature only for the specific L2TP commands that require it. This ensures that generic/unknown ioctls called on an unconnected socket still return -ENOIOCTLCMD and correctly fall back to generic handlers (e.g. in sock_do_ioctl()). | ||||
| CVE-2026-43153 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: remove xfs_attr_leaf_hasname The calling convention of xfs_attr_leaf_hasname() is problematic, because it returns a NULL buffer when xfs_attr3_leaf_read fails, a valid buffer when xfs_attr3_leaf_lookup_int returns -ENOATTR or -EEXIST, and a non-NULL buffer pointer for an already released buffer when xfs_attr3_leaf_lookup_int fails with other error values. Fix this by simply open coding xfs_attr_leaf_hasname in the callers, so that the buffer release code is done by each caller of xfs_attr3_leaf_read. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64154 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/adreno: Fix a reference leak in a6xx_gpu_init() In a6xx_gpu_init(), node is obtained via of_parse_phandle(). While there was a manual of_node_put() at the end of the common path, several early error returns would bypass this call, resulting in a reference leak. Fix this by using the __free(device_node) cleanup handler to release the reference when the variable goes out of scope. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/700661/ | ||||
| CVE-2026-64370 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: Fix pid refcount leak in do_cpu_nanosleep() error path In do_cpu_nanosleep(), posix_cpu_timer_create() takes a pid reference via get_pid() and stores it in timer.it.cpu.pid. If the subsequent posix_cpu_timer_set() call fails, the function returns immediately without calling posix_cpu_timer_del() to release the pid reference, causing a leak. Fix it by calling posix_cpu_timer_del() before the unlock-and-return on the error path, consistent with the other exit paths in the same function. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46214 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: fix accept queue count leak on transport mismatch virtio_transport_recv_listen() calls sk_acceptq_added() before vsock_assign_transport(). If vsock_assign_transport() fails or selects a different transport, the error path returns without calling sk_acceptq_removed(), permanently incrementing sk_ack_backlog. After approximately backlog+1 such failures, sk_acceptq_is_full() returns true, causing the listener to reject all new connections. Fix by moving sk_acceptq_added() to after the transport validation, matching the pattern used by vmci_transport and hyperv_transport. | ||||
| CVE-2026-46040 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inotify: fix watch count leak when fsnotify_add_inode_mark_locked() fails When fsnotify_add_inode_mark_locked() fails in inotify_new_watch(), the error path calls inotify_remove_from_idr() but does not call dec_inotify_watches() to undo the preceding inc_inotify_watches(). This leaks a watch count, and repeated failures can exhaust the max_user_watches limit with -ENOSPC even when no watches are active. Prior to commit 1cce1eea0aff ("inotify: Convert to using per-namespace limits"), the watch count was incremented after fsnotify_add_mark_locked() succeeded, so this path was not affected. The conversion moved inc_inotify_watches() before the mark insertion without adding the corresponding rollback. Add the missing dec_inotify_watches() call in the error path. | ||||
| CVE-2015-0254 | 3 Apache, Canonical, Redhat | 5 Standard Taglibs, Ubuntu Linux, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| Apache Standard Taglibs before 1.2.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or conduct external XML entity (XXE) attacks via a crafted XSLT extension in a (1) <x:parse> or (2) <x:transform> JSTL XML tag. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20320 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in s390 eBPF JIT in bpf_jit_insn in arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, a local attacker with special user privilege can circumvent the verifier and may lead to a confidentiality problem. | ||||
| CVE-2023-43086 | 1 Dell | 1 Command\|configure | 2026-10-07 | 7.3 High |
| Dell Command | Configure, versions prior to 4.11.0, contains an improper access control vulnerability. A local malicious user could potentially modify files inside installation folder during application upgrade, leading to privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98054 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: Intel: avs: Fix unbalanced module reference count strace_open() invokes try_module_get() which on success takes the module reference. If any follow up operation causes strace_open() to fail, the refcount shall be put down. | ||||
| CVE-2021-21296 | 1 Fleetdm | 1 Fleet | 2026-10-06 | 2.7 Low |
| Fleet is an open source osquery manager. In Fleet before version 3.7.0 a malicious actor with a valid node key can send a badly formatted request that causes the Fleet server to exit, resulting in denial of service. This is possible only while a live query is currently ongoing. We believe the impact of this vulnerability to be low given the requirement that the actor has a valid node key. There is no information disclosure, privilege escalation, or code execution. The issue is fixed in Fleet 3.7.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98052 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bcmasp: clear txcb->last before writing each descriptor bcmasp_xmit() only wrote txcb->last = true for the final fragment of an SKB; non-final fragments left the field untouched. If a descriptor slot was reused while it still held a stale true from a previous SKB (possible when tx_spb_ring_full() underreported fullness), bcmasp_tx_reclaim() would see last == true mid-SKB and call dev_consume_skb_any() prematurely, freeing the sk_buff while its remaining fragments were still in flight. Unconditionally clear txcb->last before the conditional set so every descriptor slot starts from a known false state regardless of what a prior transmission left behind. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69713 | 1 Microsoft | 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more | 2026-09-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| Dependency on vulnerable third-party component in Windows Secure Boot allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9547 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.4 High |
| When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://` and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack. | ||||
| CVE-2026-8932 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl would reuse a previously created connection even when some mTLS config related option had been changed that should have prohibited reuse. libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup. However, some TLS settings related to client certificates were left out from the configuration match checks, making them match too easily. In particular options related to the private key. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64321 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: target: rdma: fix ndev refcount leak on queue connect nvmet_rdma_queue_connect() calls nvmet_rdma_find_get_device() which acquires a reference on the returned ndev via kref_get(). On the path where the host queue backlog is exceeded and the function returns NVME_SC_CONNECT_CTRL_BUSY, reference of ndev is not released, leaking the kref. Fix this by adding a goto to the existing put_device label before the early return. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64376 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware_loader: fix device reference leak in firmware_upload_register() firmware_upload_register() -> fw_create_instance() -> device_initialize() After fw_create_instance() succeeds, the lifetime of the embedded struct device is expected to be managed through the device core reference counting, since fw_create_instance() has already called device_initialize(). In firmware_upload_register(), if alloc_lookup_fw_priv() fails after fw_create_instance() succeeds, the code reaches free_fw_sysfs and frees fw_sysfs directly instead of releasing the device reference with put_device(). This may leave the reference count of the embedded struct device unbalanced, resulting in a refcount leak. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. Fix this by using put_device(fw_dev) in the failure path and letting fw_dev_release() handle the final cleanup, instead of freeing the instance directly from the error path. | ||||
