| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows CD-ROM Driver allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows GDI allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A flaw was found in curl. When curl is built with the GnuTLS library, a blocked transmission during communication with a malicious WebSocket server can trigger an out-of-bounds memory read. A malicious server can exploit this flaw to expose sensitive data from neighboring memory buffers or crash the client, leading to information disclosure or a Denial of Service (DoS). |
| Buffer over-read in Windows StateRepository API allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Event Logging Service allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Servicing Stack Updates allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Management Instrumentation allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Win32 Kernel Subsystem allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| The HDA audio device model did not check for zero-length Buffer Descriptor List (BDL) entries when starting a stream. A zero-length entry caused an out-of-bounds read or write during DMA transfer processing. BDL fields were also subject to modification by the guest after validation.
A malicious guest can crash the bhyve process or potentially execute arbitrary code in the host userspace context running the virtual machine, subject to bhyve's Capsicum sandbox. |
| Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_Area reads beyond the allocated buffer when processing invalid WKB for a MultiPolygon because the multi-polygon parser advances past a nested geometry header without first verifying enough input remains. A low-privileged remote attacker can supply malformed spatial data to disclose memory useful for bypassing ASLR as part of a multi-vulnerability chain. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Overlay Filter allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| Buffer over-read in Windows Broadcast DVR User Service allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/hyperv: validate resolution_count and fix WIN8 fallback
A SYNTHVID_RESOLUTION_RESPONSE with resolution_count > 64 walks past
the supported_resolution[SYNTHVID_MAX_RESOLUTION_COUNT] array in the
parse loop. Bound resolution_count against the array size, folded
into the existing zero-check.
When the WIN10 resolution probe fails, the caller in
hyperv_connect_vsp() left hv->screen_*_max / preferred_* unpopulated,
which sets mode_config.max_width / max_height to 0 and makes
drm_internal_framebuffer_create() reject every userspace framebuffer
with -EINVAL. The pre-WIN10 branch had the same gap for
preferred_width / preferred_height. Use a single post-probe fallback
guarded by screen_width_max == 0 so both paths converge on the WIN8
defaults. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: harden POSIX SID length parsing
posix_info_sid_size() reads sid[1] to obtain the subauthority count,
but its existing boundary check still accepts buffers with only one
remaining byte. Require two bytes before reading sid[1] so all client
paths that reuse the helper reject truncated POSIX SIDs safely. |
