CVSS v3.1 |
parseWildcardRules in Gin-Gonic CORS middleware before 1.6.0 mishandles a wildcard at the end of an origin string, e.g., https://example.community/* is allowed when the intention is that only https://example.com/* should be allowed, and http://localhost.example.com/* is allowed when the intention is that only http://localhost/* should be allowed.
| The firmware upgrade function in the admin web interface of the Rittal IoT Interface & CMC III Processing Unit devices checks if
the patch files are signed before executing the containing run.sh
script. The signing process is kind of an HMAC with a long string as key
which is hard-coded in the firmware and is freely available for
download. This allows crafting malicious "signed" .patch files in order
to compromise the device and execute arbitrary code. |
RICOH Streamline NX V3 PC Client versions 3.5.0 to 3.7.0 contains an issue with use of less trusted source, which may allow an attacker who can conduct a man-in-the-middle attack to eavesdrop upgrade requests and execute a malicious DLL with custom code.
A potential vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo 510 FHD and Performance FHD web cameras that could allow an attacker with physical access to write arbitrary firmware updates to the device over a USB connection.
The Limit Login Attempts (Spam Protection) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to IP Address Spoofing in versions up to, and including, 5.3. This is due to insufficient restrictions on where the IP Address information is being retrieved for request logging and login restrictions. Attackers can supply the X-Forwarded-For header with with a different IP Address that will be logged and can be used to bypass settings that may have blocked out an IP address or country from logging in.
tiny-secp256k1 is a tiny secp256k1 native/JS wrapper. Prior to version 1.1.7, a malicious JSON-stringifyable message can be made passing on verify(), when global Buffer is the buffer package. This affects only environments where require('buffer') is the NPM buffer package. Buffer.isBuffer check can be bypassed, resulting in strange objects being accepted as a message, and those messages could trick verify() into returning false-positive true values. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.7.
MSA FieldServer Gateway 5.0.0 through 6.5.2 allows cross-origin WebSocket hijacking.
Improper signature verification in AMD CPU ROM microcode patch loader may allow an attacker with local administrator privilege to load malicious CPU microcode resulting in loss of confidentiality and integrity of a confidential guest running under AMD SEV-SNP.
sshpiper is a reverse proxy for sshd. Starting in version 1.0.50 and prior to version 1.3.0, the way the proxy protocol listener is implemented in sshpiper can allow an attacker to forge their connecting address. Commit 2ddd69876a1e1119059debc59fe869cb4e754430 added the proxy protocol listener as the only listener in sshpiper, with no option to toggle this functionality off. This means that any connection that sshpiper is directly (or in some cases indirectly) exposed to can use proxy protocol to forge its source address. Any users of sshpiper who need logs from it for whitelisting/rate limiting/security investigations could have them become much less useful if an attacker is sending a spoofed source address. Version 1.3.0 contains a patch for the issue.
The Claudio Sanches – Checkout Cielo for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to insufficient payment validation in the update_order_status() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update the status of orders to paid bypassing payment.
Improper fingerprint validation in the TeamViewer Client (Full & Host) prior Version 15.54 for Windows and macOS allows an attacker with administrative user rights to further elevate privileges via executable sideloading.
Improper verification of cryptographic signature issue exists in "FreeFrom - the nostr client" App versions prior to 1.3.5 for Android and iOS. The affected app cannot detect event data with invalid signatures.
Cryptographic validation of upgrade images could be circumventing by dropping a specifically crafted file into the upgrade ISO
An Insufficient Firmware Update Validation vulnerability could allow an authenticated malicious actor with access to UniFi Protect Cameras adjacent network to make unsupported changes to the camera system.
A multi-vendor cache poisoning vulnerability named 'Rebirthday Attack' has been discovered in caching resolvers that support EDNS Client Subnet (ECS). Unbound is also vulnerable when compiled with ECS support, i.e., '--enable-subnet', AND configured to send ECS information along with queries to upstream name servers, i.e., at least one of the 'send-client-subnet', 'client-subnet-zone' or 'client-subnet-always-forward' options is used. Resolvers supporting ECS need to segregate outgoing queries to accommodate for different outgoing ECS information. This re-opens up resolvers to a birthday paradox attack (Rebirthday Attack) that tries to match the DNS transaction ID in order to cache non-ECS poisonous replies.
Incorrect access control in Mirotalk before commit 9de226 allows attackers to arbitrarily change usernames via sending a crafted roomAction request to the server.
An insufficiently secured internal function allows session generation for arbitrary users. The decodeParam function checks the JWT but does not verify which signing algorithm was used. As a result, an attacker can use the "ex:action" parameter in the VerifyUserByThrustedService function to generate a session for any user.
The security settings in the SAP Business One Integration Framework are not adequately checked, allowing attackers to bypass the 403 Forbidden error and access restricted pages. This leads to low impact on confidentiality of the application, there is no impact on integrity and availability.
Improper session management in D-Link Wireless N 300 ADSL2+ Modem Router DSL-124 ME_1.00 allows attackers to execute a session hijacking attack via spoofing the IP address of an authenticated user.
The OpenSAML C++ library before 3.3.1 allows forging of signed SAML messages via parameter manipulation (when using SAML bindings that rely on non-XML signatures).
