CVSS v3.1 |
| Out-of-bounds read and write in lib_sag_ai_sound_sep_v2.00.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to read and write out-of-bounds memory. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a client-side heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability in general_LumaToYUV444 and general_ChromaV2ToYUV444 that allows malicious RDP servers to corrupt client memory. Attackers can send RDPGFX AVC444 or AVC444v2 frames with odd-height region rects ending at surface height to write past U/V planes, enabling heap corruption and potential code execution. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.0 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in persistent_cache_read_entry_v3 that allows local attackers to corrupt memory by supplying a crafted v3 persistent cache file. Attackers can set large width and height values that wrap the size calculation in persist_cache_get_data, causing fread to overflow an undersized buffer and potentially execute code. |
| pfSense CE 2.7.0 through 2.9.0 contains a command injection vulnerability in services_captiveportal_hasync.php that allows users with only the Captive Portal HA privilege to execute commands as root. Attackers can set backwardsyncip to a malicious XMLRPC server returning connected_users with shell metacharacters in ip or mac fields, which captiveportal_load_pfctl passes unescaped to a pfctl shell command. |
| Netgate pfSense CE 2.7.0 through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with QinQ edit privilege to run commands by storing an unvalidated parent interface name. Attackers can save a crafted 'if' value, then edit the QinQ entry so it is interpolated into ifconfig shell commands, executing commands as root. |
| libsmi through 0.5.0 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in smiValueAsString() in lib/smi.c that allows attackers to overflow a fixed 1024-byte static buffer through hex rendering of OCTET STRING values. Attackers can supply a crafted MIB with an OCTET STRING DEFVAL of 512 or more octets and a leading 0x00 byte to corrupt adjacent library globals and crash smidump or other consumers. |
| @offactory/compress-fonts before 1.1.1 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute shell commands by supplying font files with crafted names. Font paths are interpolated unquoted into a FontForge command run through child_process.execSync, so shell metacharacters in file names execute commands with the Node.js process privileges. |
| transcribe2texts through 1.0.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying crafted audioPath values to transcribeAudio(). Attackers can inject $() or backtick substitution or a closing quote into the unescaped path passed to child_process.exec() to run commands with Node.js process privileges. |
| doc-recog through 1.1.6 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying crafted document paths to recog() or tag(). Attackers can embed $(...) or backtick command substitution in the file path, which DocData._readPDF passes to a shell-based pdftotext exec call, running commands with Node.js process privileges. |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to version 17.0.9, authenticated users who are authorized to access the GraphQL api module interface of FreePBX are able to execute arbitrary shell commands. Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9. |
| A flaw was found in Cockpit. An authenticated local user with a large user identifier (UID) can cause unauthorized modification and disclosure of login records. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow during session accounting allows the user's login process to read or overwrite the legacy log entries of other accounts. |
| Memory allocation with excessive size value in Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| Numeric truncation of the buffer length in the MPU buffer authorization check in FreeRTOS-Kernel V11.3.0 and V11.3.1 on the Arm Cortex-R82 (Armv8-R AArch64) MPU port might allow, under certain conditions, an unprivileged task on MPU-enabled builds to read or write privileged kernel memory beyond the validated buffer window, via a stream buffer system call.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version V11.3.2 or later. |
| Improper input validation in getting cover image in libsimba.heifdec.media.samsung.so prior to SMR Oct-2026 Release 1 allows local attackers to write out-of-bounds memory. |
| A potential out-of-bounds write vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo Energy Management driver that could allow a local authenticated user to cause a blue screen error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm-verity: fix buffer overflow in FEC calculation
There's a buffer overflow in dm-verity-fec:
if (neras && *neras <= v->fec->roots)
fio->erasures[(*neras)++] = i;
This allows *neras to reach roots + 1 (the post-increment pushes it past
roots). This value is then passed as no_eras to decode_rs8(). Inside the
RS decoder (lib/reed_solomon/decode_rs.c:113-121), the erasure locator
polynomial loop writes lambda[j] where j can reach nroots + 1 — one
element past the end of lambda[] (which is sized nroots + 1, valid
indices 0..nroots). The out-of-bounds write lands on syn[0], corrupting
the syndrome buffer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drbd: reject data replies with an out-of-range payload size
recv_dless_read() receives a P_DATA_REPLY from a peer into the bio of an
outstanding read request. The peer-supplied payload length reaches it as
the signed int data_size, and two peer-controlled inputs can make it
negative. With a negotiated data-integrity-alg the digest length is
subtracted first, so a reply whose payload is smaller than the digest
underflows data_size. With no integrity algorithm (the default) data_size
is assigned from the unsigned h95/h100 wire length and drbdd() never
bounds it for a payload-carrying command, so a length above INT_MAX casts
it negative; this path needs no non-default feature. The bio receive loop
then computes expect = min_t(int, data_size, bv_len), which is negative,
and drbd_recv_all_warn(mapped, expect) receives with a size_t of SIZE_MAX
into the first mapped page.
The sibling receive path read_in_block() is not affected: it uses an
unsigned size and rejects it against DRBD_MAX_BIO_SIZE before receiving.
Reject a data reply whose size is negative after the optional digest
subtraction, covering both triggers.
Impact: a malicious or man-in-the-middle DRBD peer copies attacker-chosen
bytes past a bio page in the receiver, corrupting kernel memory. A node
that reads from its peer (a diskless node, or read-balancing to the peer)
is exposed in the default configuration; data-integrity-alg is not
required. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drop_monitor: fix size calculations for 64-bit attributes
net_dm_packet_report_fill() and net_dm_hw_packet_report_fill() use
nla_put_u64_64bit() to append 64-bit attributes (NET_DM_ATTR_PC and
NET_DM_ATTR_TIMESTAMP).
On 32-bit architectures without CONFIG_HAVE_EFFICIENT_UNALIGNED_ACCESS,
nla_put_u64_64bit() may append a 4-byte NET_DM_ATTR_PAD attribute for
64-bit alignment.
However, net_dm_packet_report_size() and net_dm_hw_packet_report_size()
used nla_total_size(sizeof(u64)) instead of nla_total_size_64bit(sizeof(u64)),
budgeting 12 bytes instead of up to 16 bytes.
This under-estimation of SKB size can lead to an skb_over_panic() when
__nla_reserve() or skb_put() is subsequently called.
Fix this by using nla_total_size_64bit(sizeof(u64)) in both size calculations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/guc: Fix buffer overflow in steered register list allocation
The size calculation for the steered register extarray uses only the
geometry DSS mask (g_dss_mask) to determine the number of entries to
allocate:
total = bitmap_weight(gt->fuse_topo.g_dss_mask, ...) * steer_reg_num;
However, the filling loop uses for_each_dss_steering(), which iterates
over for_each_dss(), defined as the union of g_dss_mask and c_dss_mask
(geometry + compute DSS). On platforms with compute-only DSS bits, the
loop writes past the allocated buffer, corrupting adjacent slab objects.
This manifests as list_del corruption and SLUB redzone overwrites during
drm_managed_release on device unbind, since the overflow corrupts the
drmres list_head of neighboring allocations.
Fix by computing the allocation size using the union of both DSS masks,
matching the iteration pattern of for_each_dss_steering().

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/vm: Fix BO prefetch with CONSULT_MEM_ADVISE_PREF_LOC
When prefetch region is DRM_XE_CONSULT_MEM_ADVISE_PREF_LOC for a BO VMA,
the code used it as an index into region_to_mem_type[], causing an
out-of-bounds access since the value is -1.
Resolve the preferred location for BO VMAs directly: local VRAM on dGFX
(using the BO's tile placement) or system memory on iGPU.
Discovered using AI-assisted static analysis confirmed by Intel Product
Security.
