CVSS v3.1 |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Eclipse Vert.x MQTT (vertx-mqtt) MqttClient stores every inbound QoS 2 PUBLISH message received from the broker in an internal map (qos2inbound) while awaiting the corresponding PUBREL packet to complete the QoS 2 handshake. This map has no size limit; the maxInflightQueue option is enforced only on the outbound publish path and does not constrain inbound message retention.
A malicious or compromised MQTT broker can exploit this by sending QoS 2 PUBLISH messages with distinct packet identifiers and withholding the PUBREL responses. Each incomplete handshake causes the client to retain the full publish message (topic, payload, and metadata) indefinitely, leading to unbounded memory growth in the Vert.x process. This can degrade the MQTT-consuming application or cause out-of-memory termination.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-mqtt. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Wavlink WL-WN530BE2-A up to M30BE2_V250604. The affected element is the function sub_12580 of the file api.cgi of the component Login Processing. The manipulation of the argument REMOTE_ADDR leads to os command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 2026-09-24-841a51c6d5_tclinux.bin is sufficient to fix this issue. You should upgrade the affected component. The vendor confirms: "We confirm the finding, and it has already been addressed. In the current firmware the api=info&client=app handler no longer builds a shell command: the login script is now invoked through an argument vector (execvp) instead of system(), and the client address is length-limited and null-checked." |
| OWASP Coraza WAF is a golang modsecurity compatible web application firewall library. From 3.0.0 until 3.8.1, Coraza silently drops arguments after SecArgumentsLimit in internal/corazawaf/transaction.go, while internal/bodyprocessors/urlencoded.go writes ARGS_POST without enforcing the cap. The flaw is triggered when an unauthenticated attacker sends more arguments than SecArgumentsLimit or supplies bodies that expand beyond the configured argument and flattening budgets. An unauthenticated attacker can flood requests with arguments so excess values are silently omitted from ARGS, ARGS_GET, ARGS_NAMES, ARGS_GET_NAMES, ARGS_POST, or ARGS_PATH before security rules inspect them; affected urlencoded and JSON processing can also consume excessive memory. The omission can bypass WAF rules protecting the downstream application, and unbounded or amplified argument processing can cause memory consumption and service degradation. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.1. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Edimax BR-6208AC 1.32. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /goform/formWlanMP. The manipulation of the argument readE2P leads to command injection. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A flaw has been found in Ahsay AhsayCBS up to 10.3.2. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /rps/api/json/UpdateReceivers.do of the component Replication Receiver. Executing a manipulation of the argument random can lead to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 10.3.4 is able to resolve this issue. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| FreeRDP versions 3.13.0 before 3.32.0 contain a resource retention flaw in drive_process_irp_create, which registers an opened local file in the drive dictionary before applying the allocation size and does not remove it when that operation fails. A malicious RDP server connected to a client with drive redirection enabled can send IRP_MJ_CREATE with AllocationSize set to UINT64_MAX, forcing the seek to fail and leaking the file object and operating-system handle until drive teardown. |

smb/server: fix tree connection leak in smb2_tree_connect()
See the procedure below:
smb2_tree_connect
ksmbd_tree_conn_connect
xa_store(&sess->tree_conns, tree_conn->id, tree_conn)
ksmbd_counter_inc(KSMBD_COUNTER_TREE_CONNS)
ksmbd_share_tree_conn_inc(sc)
ksmbd_iov_pin_rsp // fail
status.ret = KSMBD_TREE_CONN_STATUS_NOMEM
// do not disconnect tree_conn
Disconnect the new tree connection if ksmbd_iov_pin_rsp() fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: stmmac: fix dma mapping leak in stmmac_tso_xmit()
In stmmac_tso_xmit(), if the DMA mapping of an skb fragment fails, the
frame is dropped but the DMA mappings already created for the linear
part and for the fragments mapped before the failure are never
unmapped, leaking DMA mappings.
Fix the leak by walking back over the descriptors used by the frame and
releasing each of them with stmmac_free_tx_buffer(). Moreover, release
the descriptors with stmmac_release_tx_desc() unmapping the DMA buffers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86: asus-wmi: fix resource leaks on probe failure
During driver initialization in asus_wmi_add(), various subsystems are
registered sequentially. However, the error path labels are out of order
relative to the registration sequence.
Specifically:
1. If asus_wmi_custom_fan_curve_init() fails, the driver jumps to
fail_custom_fan_curve. Because this label is placed below fail_sysfs,
it bypasses the cleanup calls for the input device and sysfs groups,
which were successfully registered before, leaking those resources.
2. If asus_screenpad_init() fails, the driver jumps to fail_screenpad.
Because fail_screenpad is placed below fail_backlight, it bypasses the
cleanup calls for backlight and rfkill, leaking those resources.
Fix these resource leaks by reordering the error path labels in
asus_wmi_add() to match the exact reverse order of the resource
allocations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: nl80211: clean up color-change beacon data on errors
nl80211_color_change() calls nl80211_parse_beacon() for the beacon_next
template, which can allocate params.beacon_next.mbssid_ies and .rnr_ies.
A parsing failure returned directly instead of using the out: cleanup,
leaking any allocations completed before the error.
Allocate the nested attribute table before parsing beacon_next. Its
allocation failure can then return before beacon data exists, while a
later parsing failure uses out: to release the parsed data. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
HID: logitech-hidpp: Fix FF device cleanup on init failure
hidpp_ff_init() creates the input force-feedback device with
input_ff_create(), then allocates the HID++ FF private data,
effect ID array, and workqueue.
If any of those allocations fail after input_ff_create() succeeds,
the function returns an error without destroying the FF device.
Add an unwind path that frees the private allocations made by
hidpp_ff_init() and calls input_ff_destroy() for failures after
input_ff_create() succeeds. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFS: Return a delegation the client fails to record
When an NFS server grants a delegation in an OPEN reply,
nfs_inode_set_delegation() records it on the client. However, three
of its error flows return without sending DELEGRETURN.
A delegation can be relinquished only by DELEGRETURN (RFC 8881
Section 20.2.4), so dropping one silently leaves the server believing
the client still holds it. If the server happens to recall that
delegation, the client answers CB_RECALL with NFS4ERR_BADHANDLE
because it has no record of the stateid. The server revokes the
delegation and moves it onto its cl_revoked list, because the client
never sends the FREE_STATEID that would drain it. Every subsequent
SEQUENCE reply then carries SEQ4_STATUS_RECALLABLE_STATE_REVOKED,
and the client's state manager loops issuing TEST_STATEID across its
delegations without ever clearing the condition.
The window is easy to reach now that a server offers a write
delegation on any write OPEN: a delegation recalled for one opener
races a re-open that the server answers with a fresh write
delegation.
Instead of dropping it, hand the delegation back during these error
flows. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
svcrdma: Use svc_xprt_put to free listener on create failure
svc_rdma_create() calls kfree(cma_xprt) when
svc_rdma_create_listen_id() fails. svc_xprt_init() has already
acquired a net namespace reference via get_net_track(); kfree
bypasses svc_xprt_free() which releases it.
Replace the kfree() with svc_xprt_put() so the kref_init birth
reference drops to zero and svc_xprt_free() dispatches
svc_rdma_free() to clean up properly. sc_cm_id is still NULL
at that point; the preceding patch added the necessary NULL
guard in svc_rdma_free().
svc_xprt_free() also drops the module reference via
module_put(), but the caller _svc_xprt_create() does the same
on xpo_create failure, double-putting the single
try_module_get() it acquired. Take a compensating
__module_get() before the svc_xprt_put() to keep the count
balanced, matching the convention in svc_rdma_accept()'s error
path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xsk: reclaim invalid Tx descriptors in ZC batch path
The zero-copy Tx batch parser stops when it encounters an invalid
descriptor. If this happens after one or more continuation descriptors,
the Tx consumer can be advanced past fragments that are neither submitted
to the driver nor returned to userspace through the completion ring.
A similar problem occurs when a packet exceeds xdp_zc_max_segs. The
descriptors consumed up to the limit are released without completion, and
the remaining continuation descriptors can subsequently be interpreted
as the beginning of another packet.
Parse Tx batches in packet units and distinguish descriptors belonging to
complete valid packets from descriptors consumed while draining an
invalid or oversized packet. Return the former to the driver and append
the latter to the CQ address area so userspace can reclaim their UMEM
frames.
Treat a standalone invalid descriptor as a one-descriptor reclaim-only
packet. Advancing the Tx-ring consumer releases the ring slot, but does
not by itself return ownership of the referenced UMEM frame to userspace.
Once draining starts, continue until the packet's end-of-packet
descriptor is consumed. Preserve the drain state on the socket when EOP
has not yet been supplied, so draining can continue during a later call.
Leave incomplete but otherwise valid packets on the Tx ring.
Shared-UMEM pools using multi-buffer Tx also need packet-framed parsing.
Walk their Tx sockets one packet at a time, preserving the existing
per-socket fairness scheme, instead of using the legacy one-descriptor
fallback. Keep that fallback for shared pools that do not use
multi-buffer Tx. Since the drain state is maintained per socket and both
the singular and shared paths can resume an interrupted drain, changing
the socket list from singular to shared requires no special bind-time
transition.
CQ entries are positional, and drivers may complete only part of the Tx
work returned by xsk_tx_peek_release_desc_batch(). Therefore, reclaim-only
entries cannot be published immediately when earlier driver-visible
descriptors are still outstanding.
Track the number of driver-visible CQ entries preceding the reclaim
entries. Let xsk_tx_completed() publish partial hardware Tx completions,
and publish the reclaim entries only after every earlier Tx descriptor
has completed. Complete a reclaim-only batch immediately when there is no
driver-visible work in front of it, and prevent another Tx batch from
being appended while reclaim entries remain pending.
Also cap batch processing by the size of the pool's temporary descriptor
array, as Tx rings belonging to sockets sharing a UMEM may have different
sizes.
This ensures that every invalid Tx descriptor consumed by the ZC batch
path is either submitted to the driver as part of a valid packet or
returned to userspace without violating CQ completion ordering. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix folio_queue ENOMEM in writeback by adding a mempool
Fix the handling of folio_queue allocation failure in writeback by adding a
mempool and passing in gfp_t flags to the rolling buffer functions that
allocate memory, using the mempool if gfp != GFP_KERNEL.
This is then extended upwards and the gfp to be used for a request is stored
in the netfs_io_request struct and is then used for both requests and
subrequests, eliminating the sleeping loops there.
The failure caused:
folio != NULL
WARNING: fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603 at netfs_writepages+0x883/0xa10 fs/netfs/write_issue.c:603, CPU#3: syz.0.17/5919 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath12k: fix memory leak in ath12k_wifi7_dp_rx_h_verify_tkip_mic()
In ath12k_wifi7_dp_rx_h_verify_tkip_mic(), the call to
ath12k_dp_rx_check_nwifi_hdr_len_valid() may return false when the
NWIFI header length is invalid, causing the function to abort early with
-EINVAL.
When this happens, the error propagates to
ath12k_wifi7_dp_rx_h_defrag(), which clears first_frag by setting it
to NULL. As a result, the corresponding MSDU is no longer referenced
by the defragmentation path and is never freed.
This leads to a memory leak for the affected MSDU on this error path.
Proper cleanup is required to ensure the MSDU is released when header
validation fails during TKIP MIC verification.
Tested-on: WCN7850 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HMT.1.1.c5-00302-QCAHMTSWPL_V1.0_V2.0_SILICONZ-1.115823.3 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iomap: release pages on atomic dio size mismatch
If bio_iov_iter_get_pages() or the bounce helper succeeds but builds a
short bio, the REQ_ATOMIC size check rejects it before submission. The
old error path only dropped the bio reference, leaving any pages already
attached to the bio unreleased.
Release or unbounce the pages before falling through to out_put_bio on
this error path.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: use kvzalloc to allocate struct dc
struct dc has grown large over time (most of it the two inlined
dc_scratch_space copies) and now sits close to the page allocator's 4 MiB
contiguous allocation limit. Its actual size is not fixed by the source
alone, it also depends on the compiler and the .config, so it can easily
cross 4 MiB, e.g. with a newer GCC or a config change.
dc_create() allocates it with kzalloc(). Once struct dc exceeds 4 MiB the
request is rounded up to order 11 (8 MiB), which is above MAX_PAGE_ORDER,
so the page allocator warns and returns NULL. dc_create() then fails, DM
init fails and amdgpu probe aborts with -EINVAL:
WARNING: mm/page_alloc.c:5197 at __alloc_frozen_pages_noprof+0x2f9/0x380
dc_create+0x38/0x660 [amdgpu]
amdgpu_dm_init+0x2d9/0x510 [amdgpu]
dm_hw_init+0x1b/0x90 [amdgpu]
amdgpu_device_init.cold+0x150d/0x1e13 [amdgpu]
amdgpu_driver_load_kms+0x19/0x80 [amdgpu]
amdgpu_pci_probe+0x1e2/0x4c0 [amdgpu]
dc_create() then returns NULL and DM init fails, which aborts the whole
GPU init and makes amdgpu probe fail with -EINVAL ("hw_init of IP block
<dm> failed -22"), leaving the display unusable. The subsequent
amdgpu_irq_put() warnings during teardown are just fallout of unwinding
a half-initialized device.
struct dc is a software-only bookkeeping structure that is never handed
to hardware DMA and is only ever kept as an opaque pointer, so it does
not require physically contiguous memory. Allocate it with kvzalloc()
(and free it with kvfree()) so that the allocator can fall back to
vmalloc() when a contiguous allocation of that size is not available,
which also avoids the MAX_PAGE_ORDER warning entirely.

erofs: fix metabuf leak in inode xattr initialization
commit bb88e8da0025 ("erofs: use meta buffers for xattr operations")
converted xattr operations to use on-stack erofs_buf instances.
erofs_init_inode_xattrs() uses such a metabuf while reading the inline
xattr header and shared xattr id array.
Some error paths after erofs_read_metabuf() leave through out_unlock
without dropping the metabuf, so the folio reference can leak.
Consolidate the cleanup at out_unlock. erofs_put_metabuf() is a
no-op if no folio has been acquired, and this keeps all paths after
taking EROFS_I_BL_XATTR_BIT covered by a single cleanup site. |

nvme-pci: fix dma_vecs leak on p2p memory
We don't unmap P2P memory, so we don't need to track it. The dma_vec
allocation was getting leaked on the completion. |
