CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-pci: fix dma_vecs leak on p2p memory
We don't unmap P2P memory, so we don't need to track it. The dma_vec
allocation was getting leaked on the completion. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-pci: fix dma mapping leak on data setup error
We're leaking the initial DMA mapping during iteration if we fail to
allocate the tracking descriptor for both PRP and SGL. Unmap the
iterator directly; we can't use the existing unmap helper because it
depends on the tracking descriptor being successfully allocated, so a
new one for an in-use iterator is provided.
The mappings were also leaking when the driver detects an invalid
bio_vec when mapping PRPs, so fix that too. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ACPI: button: Fix ACPI GPE handler leak during removal
Commit a7e23ec17fee ("ACPI: button: Install notifier for system events
as well") changed the ACPI notify handler type for ACPI buttons to
ACPI_ALL_NOTIFY, but it forgot to update acpi_button_remove() to reflect
that change. This leads to leaking the notify handler past driver
removal, which may cause a kernel crash to occur if ACPI notify on
the given device is triggered after removing the driver, and causes a
subsequent probe of the given device with the same driver to fail.
Address this by updating the acpi_remove_notify_handler() call in
acpi_button_remove() as appropriate. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
power: supply: max77705: Free allocated workqueue and fix removal order
Use devm interface for allocating workqueue to fix two bugs at the same
time:
1. Driver leaks the memory on remove(), because the workqueue is not
destroyed.
2. Driver allocates workqueue and then registers interrupt handlers
with devm interface. This means that probe error paths will not use a
reversed order, but first destroy the workqueue and then, via devm
release handlers, free the interrupt.
The interrupt handler schedules work on this exact workqueue, thus if
interrupt is hit in this short time window - after destroying
workqueue, but before devm() frees the interrupt - the schedulled
work will lead to use of freed memory.
Change is not equivalent in the workqueue itself: use non-legacy API
which does not set (__WQ_LEGACY | WQ_MEM_RECLAIM). The workqueue is
used to update power supply (power_supply_changed()) status, thus there
is no point to run it for memory reclaim. Note that dev_name() is not
directly used in second argument to prevent possible unlikely parsing
any "%" character in device name as format. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ptp: ocp: fix resource freeing order
Commit a60fc3294a37 ("ptp: rework ptp_clock_unregister() to disable
events") added a call to ptp_disable_all_events() which changes the
configuration of pins if they support EXTTS events. In ptp_ocp_detach()
pins resources are freed before ptp_clock_unregister() and it leads to
use-after-free during driver removal. Fix it by changing the order of
free/unregister calls. To avoid irq handler running on the other core
while ptp device unregistering, call synchronize_irq() after HW is
configured to stop producing irqs and no irqs are in-flight. |
| Open WebUI 0.11.0 before 0.11.4 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the automation recurrence-rule validator, whose sub-daily frequency guard parses rule text more strictly than the calendar library that executes it. Users permitted to create automations can submit whitespace-folded rules (or, in 0.11.0, lowercase frequencies or omitted RRULE prefixes) that expand per-second synchronously, blocking the shared event loop for minutes per request and on every scheduler poll. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-32 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in the -script operation due to missing checks on file descriptor handling. Attackers can use the -script operation to close file descriptors not opened by the current operation, circumventing configured security policies. |
| ImageMagick before 6.9.13-57 and 7.x before 7.1.2-32 contains a memory leak in the SVG encoder (WriteSVGImage) that fails to release allocated memory when handling crafted images. Attackers can supply crafted image files that are processed by the SVG encoder to leak memory and cause a denial of service through resource consumption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: openvswitch: fix possible kfree_skb of ERR_PTR
After the patch in the "Fixes" tag, the allocation of the "reply" skb
can happen either before or after locking the ovs_mutex.
However, error cleanups still follow the classical reversed order,
assuming "reply" is allocated before locking: it is freed after unlocking.
If "reply" allocation happens after locking the mutex and it fails,
"reply" is left with an ERR_PTR, and execution jumps to the correspondent
cleanup stage which will try to free an invalid pointer.
Fix this by setting the pointer to NULL after having saved its error
value. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vsock/vmci: fix sk_ack_backlog leak on failed handshake
When vmci_transport_recv_connecting_server() returns an error,
vmci_transport_recv_listen() calls vsock_remove_pending() but never
calls sk_acceptq_removed(). This leaves sk_ack_backlog incremented
permanently.
Repeated handshake failures (malformed packets, queue pair alloc
failure, event subscribe failure) cause sk_ack_backlog to climb
toward sk_max_ack_backlog. Once it reaches the limit the listener
permanently refuses all new connections with -ECONNREFUSED, a
silent denial of service requiring a process restart to recover.
The two existing sk_acceptq_removed() calls in af_vsock.c do not
cover this path: line 764 checks vsock_is_pending() which returns
false after vsock_remove_pending(), and line 1889 is only reached
on successful accept().
Fix by balancing sk_acceptq_added() with sk_acceptq_removed() on
the error path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register
For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNAME the destination register is declared with
len = IFNAMSIZ (four 32-bit registers), but on the lookup-fail,
RTN_LOCAL and oif-mismatch paths nft_fib{4,6}_eval() only writes one
register via "*dest = 0". The remaining three registers are left as
whatever was on the stack in nft_do_chain()'s struct nft_regs, and a
downstream expression that loads the register span can leak that
uninitialised kernel stack to userspace.
The NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT existence check has the same shape: it is only
meaningful for NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF, yet it was accepted for any result type
while the eval stores a single byte via nft_reg_store8(), leaving the rest
of the declared span stale.
Fix both:
- replace the bare "*dest = 0" in the eval with nft_fib_store_result(),
which strscpy_pad()s the whole IFNAMSIZ for OIFNAME (and is already
used on the other early-return path), and
- restrict NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT to NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF and declare its
destination as a single u8, so the marked span matches the one byte
the eval writes. |
| Payload is a free and open source headless content management system. In versions from 3.0.0 before 3.90.0 and canary versions before 4.0.0-canary.34, a malformed multipart request body can cause multipart Content-Type processing to take an extremely long time, resulting in uncontrolled resource consumption. This issue is fixed in versions 3.90.0 and 4.0.0-canary.34. |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to uncontrolled resource consumption. |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to improper memoization of GraphQL fragment spreads. |
| MOOS-IvP versions through 24.8.1 contain a quadratic processing vulnerability in uFldNodeComms where each new node identity creates a ledger entry and triggers all-pairs distribution work. Attackers can supply unbounded distinct node names in reports to drive the shoreside broker into quadratic processing, delaying or preventing distribution of legitimate node reports. |
| MOOS core-moos through 10.4.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in MOOSCommServer::ListenLoop() where the accept thread performs a blocking receive without timeout during the wire-protocol handshake. An attacker can open a TCP connection to the MOOSDB port and send no data, causing the accept thread to block indefinitely while holding the socket-list lock, preventing all subsequent client connections. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in sgl-project SGLang up to 0.5.19. Affected by this issue is the function Session.create_req of the file python/sglang/srt/session/session_controller.py of the component Session Cleanup. Such manipulation leads to denial of service. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| The OpenAPI.NET SDK contains a useful object model for OpenAPI documents in .NET along with common serializers to extract raw OpenAPI JSON and YAML documents from the model. In Microsoft.OpenApi.Readers versions before 1.6.30 and Microsoft.OpenApi.YamlReader from 2.0.0-preview.11 through 2.11.0 and 3.0.0 through 3.9.0, parsing a YAML OpenAPI document with nested anchors and aliases can consume uncontrolled memory. SharpYaml represents aliases as shared nodes in a small directed acyclic graph, but conversion to independent OpenAPI or System.Text.Json.Nodes.JsonNode trees duplicates every aliased path; without a node-count or nesting-depth limit, N nested anchors referenced k times can require k^N materialized nodes and terminate the process through an out-of-memory condition. The fixed readers bound materialization to 5,000,000 nodes and a nesting depth of 64 by default and report an OpenApiDiagnostic error when a limit is exceeded. This vulnerability is fixed in Microsoft.OpenApi.Readers 1.6.30 and Microsoft.OpenApi.YamlReader 2.12.0 and 3.10.0. |
| Use after free in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| IBM DataPower Gateway 10.5.0.0 through 10.5.0.22, 10.6.1 through 10.6.6, 10.6.0.0 through 10.6.0.10, and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.0.2 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to algorithmic complexity in linked-list traversal. |
