CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mwifiex: fix IRQ leak using wrong index in MSI-X error path
mwifiex_pcie_request_irq() registers each MSI-X vector with a per-index
dev_id (&card->msix_ctx[i]). On a request_irq() failure the cleanup loop
"for (j = 0; j < i; j++)" frees msix_entries[j].vector but passes the
failed index's &card->msix_ctx[i] as the dev_id. free_irq() matches on
(irq, dev_id), so it fails to find the action registered with
&card->msix_ctx[j]: the already-requested IRQ j is not freed (leaked) and
free_irq() warns about freeing a non-existent IRQ. Use &card->msix_ctx[j]. |
| Dell Unisphere for PowerMax vApp, version(s) 9.2.4.x, contain(s) an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote execution. |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. After compression is negotiated, a compressed payload can expand past the maximum supported packet size because the inflate loop does not stop at that limit. Memory use grows in the process handling that connection. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1, Atom exhaustion: OAuth2 JWT tag: scope values. extractscopes/1 parses scopes of the form .tag: and calls rabbitdatacoercion:toatom() to convert to a tag atom. The token signature is verified first, so the attacker cannot forge scopes , but in IdP configurations where scope content is user-influenced, each login with a novel tag value leaks one In deployments where users can influence the scopes included in their IdP-issued JWT rabbitmqauthbackendoauth2 enabled IdP permits attacker-influenced scope values in signed tokens. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1. |
| Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 do not consistently record successful authentication events in audit logs, which could limit customers' ability to detect and investigate unauthorized access or credential misuse. |
| kin-openapi is a Go project for handling OpenAPI files. From 0.145.0 until 0.146.0, openapi3filter repeatedly calls regexp.MustCompile for the same parameter-name regular expression inside the per-query-key loop in urlValuesDecoder.DecodeObject used to decode a deepObject query parameter. An unauthenticated remote client can send an affected endpoint a request containing many unrelated query keys, causing ValidateRequest to perform work and allocations proportional to the attacker-controlled key count for every deepObject parameter. The expression itself is fixed and this is not regular expression denial of service; the resource consumption comes from loop-invariant recompilation. This issue is fixed in version 0.146.0. |
| An unauthenticated user with network access to the Ops Manager web port can repeatedly request monitoring endpoints that perform costly work without rate limiting. This can temporarily slow other traffic served by the same process while requests continue. |
| An issue has been found in JasPer 2.0.14. There is a memory leak in jas_malloc.c when called from jpc_unk_getparms in jpc_cs.c. |
| A flaw was found in Netty's HttpServerCodec. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by pipelining HTTP/1.1 requests on a single connection and withholding reads. This action causes the methodOverflowQueue to grow without limit, leading to unbounded heap memory consumption and a denial of service due to memory exhaustion. |
| A flaw was found in Netty. SpdySessionHandler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams because localConcurrentStreams defaults to Integer.MAX_VALUE and the handler provides no API to change it. A remote peer can open a SPDY connection and send a large number of SYN_STREAM frames with FLAG_FIN=0, causing unbounded heap and direct memory allocation that can lead to JVM OutOfMemoryError and a denial of service. |
| Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.7.0, GET /docs/api exposes the Scramble-generated OpenAPI documentation configured by config/scramble.php to unauthenticated callers after installation, with observed response size and latency suggesting that the schema is regenerated without an application-level cache. A remote attacker can repeatedly request the unthrottled route to consume server CPU and obtain a detailed map of the API surface and parameter schema. This issue is fixed in version 7.7.0. |
| Lychee is a free, open-source photo-management tool. Prior to 7.7.0, Lychee enables ImageMagick PDF support with Ghostscript but does not apply an effective pre-render limit to PDF page dimensions in ImagickHandler::loadPdf(). An authenticated user who can upload a small PDF with an oversized /MediaBox can cause Imagick::readImage() to consume substantial CPU before failing to produce an image. When QUEUE_CONNECTION selects synchronous processing the request can occupy a web worker, while the official asynchronous Docker configuration can clog the shared image-processing queue and delay other work. The advisory did not identify a Ghostscript sandbox escape. This issue is fixed in version 7.7.0. |
| A flaw has been found in Wavlink WL-WN592AX6 250422. This issue affects the function system of the component wmapd Daemon. Executing a manipulation can lead to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A vulnerability was found in Edimax BR-6208AC 1.32. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /goform/formAccept. Performing a manipulation of the argument submit-url results in command injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A vulnerability was found in Linksys E1700 1.0.0.4.003. This affects the function setLinksysIpv6 of the file /goform/setLinksysIpv6. The manipulation of the argument _6rd_prefix/_6rd_prefix_len results in os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A vulnerability was detected in TRENDnet TEW-751DR, TEW-752DRU and TEW733GR 1.03B01/1.03B03. Affected is the function fwrite of the file pigwidgeon.cgi of the component Web Management Backend. The manipulation of the argument service results in os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor confirms: "As this router was EOL'd in 2011, we have no way of testing if such vulnerability exists. We will notify our customers of a potential vulnerability on this product." This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Uncontrolled Recursion vulnerability in Protobuf.JSON.Decode in elixir-protobuf protobuf allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the decoding process via a deeply nested JSON document. Any application that decodes attacker-supplied JSON with Protobuf.JSON.decode/3, Protobuf.JSON.decode!/3, or Protobuf.JSON.from_decoded/3 into a schema that contains a self-referential or cyclic message type is affected.
In lib/protobuf/json/decode.ex, the embedded-message clause of decode_singular/3 recurses into internal_from_json_data/3 once per nesting level without incrementing or checking the decoder's depth counter. The depth guard increase_depth_and_maybe_throw/1 covers only the Google.Protobuf.ListValue and Google.Protobuf.Struct clauses, so the recursion_limit option has no effect on user-defined message types. Each nesting level allocates a stack frame and heap objects, and a sufficiently deep document exhausts the memory of the decoding process. Confidentiality and integrity are not affected.
This issue affects protobuf: from 0.8.0 before 0.17.1. |
| A vulnerability was determined in D-Link DIR-868L 2.01b05. This impacts the function system of the file /htdocs/cgibin of the component HNAP CGI Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument SOAPACTION can lead to os command injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the PostgreSQL message decoder reads the 4-byte message length field from the PostgreSQL wire protocol without any maximum validation. A malicious, compromised, or man-in-the-middle PostgreSQL server can send a message header with the length field set to an extremely large value (up to Integer.MAX_VALUE), causing the decoder to accumulate subsequent TCP data into a composite buffer without bound, leading to unbounded memory allocation on the client and an out-of-memory crash. This occurs before authentication completes.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-pg-client. |
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the HTTP proxy provides a body transformer interceptor that relies on a max buffered bytes limit to ensure a bounded buffer for each request. This can be used to force a server to indefinitely allocate heap. This vulnerability requires to use an intercepting body transformer.
The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-http-proxy. |
