CVSS v3.1 |
The CS Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the cs_widget_file_delete() function in all versions up to, and including, 6.9. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in SS1 Ver.16.0.0.10 and earlier (Media version:16.0.0a and earlier). If this vulnerability is exploited, legitimate files may be overwritten by a remote authenticated attacker.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Sizam Design Rehub allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects Rehub: from n/a through 19.6.1.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in NooTheme Jobmonster allows File Manipulation. This issue affects Jobmonster: from n/a through 4.7.0.
pghoard is a PostgreSQL backup daemon and restore tooling that stores backup data in cloud object stores. A vulnerability has been discovered that could allow an attacker to acquire disk access with privileges equivalent to those of pghoard, allowing for unintended path traversal. Depending on the permissions/privileges assigned to pghoard, this could allow disclosure of sensitive information. This issue has been addressed in releases after 2.2.2a. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CraftOS-PC 2 is a rewrite of the desktop port of CraftOS from the popular Minecraft mod ComputerCraft using C++ and a modified version of PUC Lua, as well as SDL for drawing. Prior to version 2.8.3, users of CraftOS-PC 2 on Windows can escape the computer folder and access files anywhere without permission or notice by obfuscating `..`s to bypass the internal check preventing parent directory traversal. Version 2.8.3 contains a patch for this issue.
A Path Traversal vulnerability exists in the `/wipe_database` endpoint of parisneo/lollms version v12, allowing an attacker to delete any directory on the system. The vulnerability arises from improper validation of the `key` parameter, which is used to construct file paths. An attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted HTTP request to delete arbitrary directories.
dialect/mod.rs in the libsql-sqlite3-parser crate through 0.13.0 before 14f422a for Rust can crash if the input is not valid UTF-8.
A path traversal issue potentially leading to remote code execution in Genie for all versions prior to 4.3.18
Arbitrary directory creation or file deletion. In the find_file method of the GitFS class, a path is created using os.path.join using unvalidated input from the “tgt_env” variable. This can be exploited by an attacker to delete any file on the Master's process has permissions to.
Directory traversal attack in minion file cache creation. The master's default cache is vulnerable to a directory traversal attack. Which could be leveraged to write or overwrite 'cache' files outside of the cache directory.
Ozeki SMS Gateway versions up to and including 10.3.208 contain a path traversal vulnerability. Successful exploitation allows an unauthenticated attacker to use URL-encoded traversal sequences to read arbitrary files from the underlying filesystem with the privileges of the gateway service, leading to disclosure of sensitive information.
A security vulnerability has been detected in kalcaddle kodbox up to 1.61.09. The affected element is the function fileOut of the file app/controller/explorer/index.class.php. Such manipulation of the argument path leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
A vulnerability was found in 云课网络科技有限公司 Yunke Online School System up to 3.0.6. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function downfile of the file application/admin/controller/Appadmin.php. The manipulation of the argument url leads to path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Brevo Sendinblue for WooCommerce allows Relative Path Traversal, Manipulating Web Input to File System Calls. This issue affects Sendinblue for WooCommerce: from n/a through 4.0.17.
HelloWeb 2.0 contains an arbitrary file download vulnerability that allows remote attackers to download system files by manipulating filepath and filename parameters. Attackers can send crafted GET requests to download.asp with directory traversal to access sensitive configuration and system files.
A path traversal vulnerability exists in RIPS Scanner version 0.54. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the system with the privileges of the web server by sending crafted HTTP GET requests to the 'windows/code.php' script with a manipulated 'file' parameter. This can lead to disclosure of sensitive information.
An unauthenticated file download vulnerability exists in LimeSurvey versions from 2.0+ up to and including 2.06+ Build 151014. The application fails to validate serialized input to the admin backup endpoint (`index.php/admin/update/sa/backup`), allowing attackers to specify arbitrary file paths using a crafted `datasupdateinfo` payload. The files are packaged in a ZIP archive and made available for download without authentication. This vulnerability can be exploited to read arbitrary files on the host system, including sensitive OS and configuration files.
Crystal Live HTTP Server 6.01 contains a directory traversal vulnerability that allows remote attackers to access system files by manipulating URL path segments. Attackers can use multiple '../' sequences to navigate outside the web root and retrieve sensitive configuration files like Windows system files.
| An attacker can get Remote Code Execution by overwriting files. Overwriting files is enable by falsifying package name variable. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability.
