| A command injection vulnerability exists in the h-ui (version v0.0.25 and below) administrative API due to improper validation of the listen configuration field. When an authenticated administrator submits a value containing shell metacharacters, the application constructs nftables/iptables rule strings using fmt.Sprintf and executes them via bash -c as root. Because the listen field lacks port or format validation, arbitrary OS commands can be injected and executed with root privileges. |
| The `github.com/moby/sys/user` package provides Go utilities for parsing and looking up entries in Unix-style user and group database files. Versions before 0.4.1 do not sufficiently limit entries when parsing `/etc/passwd`- or `/etc/group`-style files, allowing an attacker who can supply a specially crafted file to cause excessive memory consumption and potentially terminate the affected process due to an out-of-memory condition. This issue is patched in version 0.4.1. As a workaround, avoid parsing attacker-controlled user or group database files, or validate and limit untrusted input before parsing it. |
| Uncontrolled eviction in the browser session table of the REST API in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.2.28 through 6.3.5 allows a remote authenticated user to end other users' sessions. The table of browser sessions, shared by every account, the server administrator and support sessions, dropped its least recently used session whenever it was full, whoever it belonged to, and placed no limit on how many sessions one account could hold. A user who repeatedly signs in with their own mailbox password can therefore keep the table full and sign out every webmail and administration session that is idle for more than a short time, for as long as they continue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: fix rmmio iounmap skipped on device removal
amdgpu_pci_remove() calls drm_dev_unplug() before fini_sw(), so
drm_dev_enter() is already false there and the iounmap() guarded by it
is skipped. This .remove path runs on both hot-unplug and plain rmmod,
so the register BAR ioremap mapping leaks one instance per unload.
Unmap rmmio unconditionally (guard only on non-NULL) and drop the now
unused idx.

| yawkat LZ4 Java provides LZ4 compression for Java. Prior to 1.11.4, net.jpountz.lz4.LZ4FrameInputStream readHeader() allocates two new 4 MiB block buffers whenever a maximum-block-size frame header is read, and the default concatenated-frame mode allows attacker-controlled streams containing many minimal empty frames to trigger roughly 8 MiB of allocation for every 11 input bytes. The stream produces no decompressed output while consuming CPU and garbage-collection time, so decompressed-size limits do not mitigate the issue; readSingleFrame mode is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.4. |
| Uncontrolled mutual recursion between DcmJSONReader::parseDataSet(), DcmJSONReader::parseElement() and DcmJSONReader::parseSequence() in dcmdata/libsrc/dcjsonrd.cc of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted DICOM JSON document with deeply nested sequence (SQ) values. The json2dcm tool and any service that converts untrusted DICOM JSON (for example, DICOMweb payloads) with this reader are affected. The issue is fixed in commit cf955e64c35a1e07ba10698f639d5dcdec53b9d7. |
| Uncontrolled mutual recursion between DcmXMLParseHelper::parseDataSet() and DcmXMLParseHelper::parseSequence() in the XML-to-DICOM converter (dcmdata/libdcxml/xml2dcm.cc) of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted XML file with deeply nested sequence and item elements. The xml2dcm tool and any service that converts untrusted XML to DICOM with this code are affected. The issue is fixed in commit 87f256d73e30656a822bf7d76d1cf1d9bb693954. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in DcmDicomDir::moveRecordToTree() in dcmdata/libsrc/dcdicdir.cc of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted DICOMDIR file with a deeply chained sequence of directory records linked through the Offset of Referenced Lower-Level Directory Entity attribute. Any application that opens the DICOMDIR is affected, including dcmgpdir and media viewers built on DCMTK. The issue is fixed in commit ca761f7f3dcaaddaa95be87cf5d736138d7c3a9f. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in XMLNode::ParseXMLElement() and XMLNode::emptyTheNode() in the bundled XML parser (ofstd/libsrc/ofxml.cc) of OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (stack exhaustion and process crash) via a crafted XML document with deeply nested elements. The parser is reachable through dcmencap when encapsulating a CDA document, and through any application that calls OFXMLParser::parseFile() or OFXMLParser::parseString() on untrusted input. The issue is fixed in commit d12e350e687530eb41e2b0c860aff4d8c04e5941. |
| FFmpeg through 9.0.2 contains a stack exhaustion vulnerability in av_encryption_init_info_free() in libavutil/encryption_info.c, which recursively frees AVEncryptionInitInfo linked lists built by the MOV demuxer's mov_read_pssh(). Attackers can supply a crafted MP4 file with tens of thousands of small pssh boxes to exhaust the stack and crash the process, while also causing quadratic CPU consumption. |
| simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin does not completely reject configuration includes supplied through customArgs to git.clone(). The missing include.path classification permits Git to load an attacker-controlled configuration file, and the initial remediation does not cover includeIf.<condition>.path, allowing the same file-loading primitive through a conditional include. A loaded configuration can set an executable Git option such as core.sshCommand, which Git invokes during the clone operation with the privileges of the Node.js process. Exploitation requires the application to pass attacker-influenced custom arguments and requires an attacker-controlled file that the process can read. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0. |
| simple-git, an interface for running git commands in any node.js application, enables applications to execute Git operations from JavaScript. Prior to 4.0.0, the default blockUnsafeOperationsPlugin compares parsed option names with literal dangerous option spellings while Git accepts unambiguous long-option abbreviations. Attacker-influenced push arguments such as abbreviated --receive-pack or --exec forms can therefore bypass detectVulnerableFlags, reach git push against a local or file remote or an attacker-influenced receive-pack target, and cause Git to invoke an attacker-selected command in consumers that expose those arguments. The clone-side abbreviation handling does not protect the push path. This issue is fixed in 4.0.0. |
| Uncontrolled eviction in the pending sign-in tables of the REST API in Progressive Robot hMailServer 6.3.4 and 6.3.5 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to make other users' OpenID Connect, SAML and passkey sign-ins fail. The routes that start a single sign-on and hand out a passkey sign-in challenge are reached without authentication and stored pending state in bounded tables that dropped their oldest entry when full, whoever had started it. An attacker who starts sign-ins a few times a second (about a hundred a second for passkeys) pushes every other user's pending sign-in out of the table before that user's browser returns, denying single sign-on and passkey sign-in for as long as the requests continue. |
| An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in Fireware OS's diagnostic tasks feature allows a low-privileged, authenticated user to cause a denial of service of the system's diagnostic tools by repeatedly starting and aborting a specially crafted diagnostic task through the web UI. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in the Apache Struts REST plugin. A request body is read into memory without any bound on how much will be accepted, so a single request can cause the server to allocate memory in proportion to its size, exhausting the Java heap and denying service to other users. No additional setting has to be enabled. Applications that do not use the REST plugin are not affected.
This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.1.8 through 2.3.37, from 2.5.0 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.11.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.3.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.12.0 or 7.4.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Asymmetric resource consumption (amplification) vulnerability in Apache Struts. When a request parameter is bound to an arbitrary-precision decimal (java.math.BigDecimal) property that is then rendered through the Struts tag library, the framework can produce a response many orders of magnitude larger than the request, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to exhaust server CPU and outbound network capacity with sustained low-volume traffic. Applications that do not bind request parameters to BigDecimal properties, or never render such a property through the Struts tag library, are not affected.
This issue affects Apache Struts: from 2.5.14 through 2.5.33, from 6.0.0 through 6.11.0, from 7.0.0 through 7.3.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.12.0 or 7.4.0, which fixes the issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ethtool: rss: fix indir_table and hkey leak on get_rxfh failure
rss_prepare_get() allocates the indirection table and hash key buffer
via rss_get_data_alloc(), then calls ops->get_rxfh() to populate them.
If get_rxfh() fails, the function returns an error without freeing
the allocation. |
| An optional, separately licensed repository-connector feature in Kiteworks Core did not neutralize special characters in a user-supplied path before passing it to an external command. An authenticated system administrator could inject additional commands and write arbitrary content to files owned by the service account running the connector, enabling code execution in that account's context; exploitation additionally requires network egress from the appliance to a system under the attacker's control. |
