CVE-2026-111823 1 Mage 1 Mage-ai 2026-10-17 9.8 Critical
Mage OSS through 0.9.80 before 76c4f46 can proceed with session creation upon encountering an unknown OAuth provider.
CVE-2026-97381 2026-10-17 9.9 Critical
Legacy Update is a tool for activating and installing updates on legacy Windows PCs. Legacy Update 1.12.0 through 1.13.1 contains an origin validation error in the IsPermitted method of its ActiveX control. After successfully reading the hosting document's hostname, a hostname that is not on the permitted list falls through without setting E_ACCESSDENIED, causing IsPermitted to return S_OK. An attacker who induces a user to visit a malicious webpage in Internet Explorer can invoke the control to enumerate update and system information, install updates without consent, display dialogs, or restart the computer when a reboot is pending. This issue was fixed in Legacy Update 1.13.2.
CVE-2026-74367 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix inconsistent arvif state in vdev_create error paths ath12k_mac_vdev_create() has three error path issues that leave arvif in an inconsistent state: 1. When ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() fails, the function returns directly without clearing arvif->ar, which was already set before the WMI call. Subsequent code checking arvif->ar to determine vdev readiness will see a non-NULL value despite no vdev existing in firmware. 2. When ath12k_wmi_send_peer_delete_cmd() fails in err_peer_del, the code jumped to err: skipping the DP peer cleanup and vdev rollback, leaving num_created_vdevs, vdev maps and arvif list membership live. 3. When ath12k_wait_for_peer_delete_done() fails, the code jumped to err_vdev_del: skipping the DP peer cleanup. Fix by changing the ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() failure to goto err instead of returning directly, routing both err_peer_del failure paths through err_dp_peer_del: for proper DP peer and vdev rollback, and consolidating the arvif state cleanup at err:. Tested-on: WCN7850 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HMT.1.1.c5-00302-QCAHMTSWPL_V1.0_V2.0_SILICONZ-1.115823.3
CVE-2026-72421 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 10 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: fib: Don't ignore error route in local/main tables. When CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES is enabled but no rule is added, fib_lookup() performs route lookup directly on two tables. Since the first lookup does not properly bail out, the result of an error route in the merged local/main table could be overwritten by another route in the default table: # unshare -n # ip link set lo up # ip route add 192.168.0.0/24 dev lo table 253 # ip route add unreachable 192.168.0.0/24 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 192.168.0.1 dev lo table default uid 0 cache <local> Once a random rule is added, the error route is respected: # ip rule add table 0 # ip rule del table 0 # ip route get 192.168.0.1 RTNETLINK answers: No route to host Let's fix the inconsistent behaviour.
CVE-2026-72067 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpu: hotplug: Preserve per instance callback errors cpuhp_invoke_callback() unwinds earlier callbacks for the same hotplug state when one instance fails. The rollback path currently reuses ret, so a successful rollback can hide the original error and make the failed transition look successful. Keep the rollback result separate from the original error.
CVE-2026-86463 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-15 7.5 High
Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions. The search pattern can get stuck trying many combinations when it encounters a long string without an operator, causing the parser to consume excessive CPU time. An attacker can send a crafted query to make the server use up CPU resources, potentially slowing down or stopping other requests. The fix was to limit FIQL expressions to 4 KiB by default, preventing attackers from sending extremely long inputs while still allowing normal queries. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-78384 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-15 7.5 High
CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-98004 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/riscv: Serialize command queue publishing Serialize command queue publishing so software producer state advances only after a command is written and the hardware tail is updated. Wait for hardware consumption outside the queue lock when the command queue is full so other CPUs are not blocked behind a long poll.
CVE-2026-93168 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: xilinx_dma: Fix CPU stall in xilinx_dma_poll_timeout Currently when calling xilinx_dma_poll_timeout with delay_us=0 and a condition that is never fulfilled, the CPU busy-waits for prolonged time and the timeout triggers only with a massive delay causing a CPU stall. This happens due to a huge underestimation of wall clock time in poll_timeout_us_atomic. Commit 7349a69cf312 ("iopoll: Do not use timekeeping in read_poll_timeout_atomic()") changed the behavior to no longer use ktime_get at the expense of underestimation of wall clock time which appears to be very large for delay_us=0. Instead of timing out after approximately XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT microseconds, the timeout takes XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT * 1000 * (time that the overhead of the for loop in poll_timeout_us_atomic takes) which is in the range of several minutes for XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT=1000000. Fix this by using a non-zero value for delay_us. Use delay_us=10 to keep the delay in the hot path of starting DMA transfers minimal but still avoid CPU stalls in case of unexpected hardware failures. One-off measurement with delay_us=0 causes the cpu to busy wait around 7 minutes in the timeout case. After applying this patch with delay_us=10 the measured timeout was 1053428 microseconds which is roughly equivalent to the expected 1000000 microseconds specified in XILINX_DMA_LOOP_COUNT. Add a constant XILINX_DMA_POLL_DELAY_US for delay_us value.
CVE-2026-90242 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/vt-d: Fix iopf_refcount leak on RID domain replacement intel_iommu_attach_device() enables IOPF for the new domain but never disables it for the old one. device_block_translation(), called at the start of the function, tears down translation but does not touch any IOPF state; blocking_domain_attach_dev() has to call iopf_for_domain_remove() explicitly before invoking it for exactly this reason. identity_domain_attach_dev() has the same problem. Its comment claims that no PRI handling is needed because the device has been put in the blocking state, but the blocking state and the IOPF reference count are independent of each other. As a result, replacing a domain that has an iopf_handler with another domain at RID level leaks a reference in info->iopf_refcount. The count never drops back to zero, so iopf_queue_remove_device() is never called and iommu_disable_pci_pri() triggers its WARN_ON(info->iopf_refcount) when the device is released. The PASID paths already handle this correctly by way of iopf_for_domain_replace(); convert the two RID paths to do the same. Using the replace helper rather than a bare remove keeps the enable before the disable, so the reference count does not transiently reach zero and evict the device from the IOPF queue.
CVE-2026-72477 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: call _ntfs_bad_inode() when failing to rename It is safe to call _ntfs_bad_inode on live inodes since: commit 519b078998ce ("fs/ntfs3: Exclude call make_bad_inode for live nodes.") The WARN_ON was added when it wasn't safe by: commit d99208b91933 ("fs/ntfs3: cancle set bad inode after removing name fails") Replace the WARN_ON with a call to _ntfs_bad_inode() to prevent further operations on the inconsistent inode.
CVE-2026-53257 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: enforce HE/EHT cap/oper consistency Xiang Mei reports that mac80211 could crash if eht_cap is set but eht_oper isn't. Rather than fixing that for the individual user(s), enforce that both HE/EHT have consistent elements.
CVE-2026-53181 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/vmci: fix sk_ack_backlog leak on failed handshake When vmci_transport_recv_connecting_server() returns an error, vmci_transport_recv_listen() calls vsock_remove_pending() but never calls sk_acceptq_removed(). This leaves sk_ack_backlog incremented permanently. Repeated handshake failures (malformed packets, queue pair alloc failure, event subscribe failure) cause sk_ack_backlog to climb toward sk_max_ack_backlog. Once it reaches the limit the listener permanently refuses all new connections with -ECONNREFUSED, a silent denial of service requiring a process restart to recover. The two existing sk_acceptq_removed() calls in af_vsock.c do not cover this path: line 764 checks vsock_is_pending() which returns false after vsock_remove_pending(), and line 1889 is only reached on successful accept(). Fix by balancing sk_acceptq_added() with sk_acceptq_removed() on the error path.
CVE-2026-79611 1 Xen 1 Xen 2026-10-13 N/A
For XSA-308 logic was introduced, as VMX VMEntry checks do not like the exact combination of state which occurs when #DB in intercepted, Single Stepping is active, and blocked by STI/MovSS is active, despite this being a legitimate state to be in. The resulting VMEntry failure is fatal to the guest. Sadly there is another special sub-case of the above, with branch tracing enabled. In that case the prior adjustment would still cause a VMentry failure, as before fatal to the guest.
CVE-2026-95112 1 Gitea 1 Gitea 2026-10-13 6.5 Medium
When processing issue and comment bodies, Gitea scanned the entire preceding text for action keywords such as "closes" or "fixes" once per Markdown link, giving processing time quadratic in the input size. An authenticated user able to submit issue or comment content could send a crafted body of about 1 MB that keeps a CPU core busy for several minutes while holding a database transaction open.
CVE-2026-107785 1 Sirius Computer 1 Crux Agent 2026-10-11 N/A
Crux Agent from 1.9.0 before 2.0.3 uses the full SKA bilocation key as the WireGuard preshared key. When a peering session negotiates use of SHA-512, the key produced is 64 bytes instead of the 32 bytes WireGuard requires. The agent does not validate this size; instead it attempts to use the `wg set` command to update the live tunnel, and write the invalid key to the WireGuard configuration file. The update fails, so the live tunnel keeps using its previous preshared key until the tunnel is shut down. The tunnel will fail to start when restarted. For a peer which has never successfully negotiated a 32-byte bilocation key in a Crux C2 organization which has the "Enforce SKA Use" setting turned off, no preshared key will be set for the tunnel. Therefore, an attacker who is able to intercept and store the peer's traffic, and has access (or will have access) to a cryptographically relevant quantum computer, will be able to decrypt the tunnel.
CVE-2026-98269 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: abort transaction on failure to update inode for hole punching and reflinking If we fail to update the inode we error out without aborting the transaction, which can result in a persistent inconsistency if after the failure the transaction is committed, as we have dropped file extent items from a range and either punched a hole or insert a new file extent item for that range (for reflinks). So add the missing transaction abort.
CVE-2026-104002 1 Aws 1 Powertools-lambda-python 2026-10-09 5.3 Medium
A fail-open error handling issue within the data masking utility of Powertools for AWS Lambda (Python) might allow actors to read sensitive field values that the application intended to mask.  To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 3.35.0.
CVE-2026-107275 1 Fastify 1 Fastify/jwt 2026-10-09 6.8 Medium
@fastify/jwt is a JSON Web Token plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions before 10.2.3, a time span passed to expiresIn, notBefore, or maxAge that the plugin's parser cannot read, such as a compound span, a month unit, an ISO 8601 duration, a decimal comma, or a value with surrounding whitespace, is silently dropped instead of refused. On the signing path this produces a token with no expiration claim that never expires, and on the verification path a configured maxAge stops being enforced, so a token that should be rejected for age is accepted. The issue is fixed in @fastify/jwt 10.2.3, and users should upgrade to 10.2.3 or later. As a workaround, pass these options as a number of seconds, or verify that any time-span string parses to a finite value before relying on it.
CVE-2026-98138 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs: do not mark the volume clean in sync_fs when errors were recorded ntfs_put_super() and the remount-read-only path both clear the dirty bit only when NVolErrors(vol) is false. ntfs_sync_fs() clears it unconditionally, so any sync() on a volume that recorded an error marks that volume clean. A volume without this set is then seen as not needing recovery and it does not run one, so whatever went wrong is never repaired. This change skips resetting the dirty bit when there are volume errors. Reproduced on a volume whose $MFTMirr does not match $MFT, which sets the error flag while leaving the mount read-write: after a write and a sync, the on-disk volume flags read 0x0000 with this driver and 0x0001 with the guard in place.
