CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in Podman. If an attacker can pass a crafted tar archive to the `podman load` command, they can create files on the host machine with the privileges of the user running Podman.
A potential insecure permissions vulnerability was reported in Legion Zone and the Lenovo App Store Windows applications, distributed exclusively in the Chinese market, that when installed on a non‑system partition, could allow a local user to execute arbitrary code.
| Overly permissive file permissions in AWS CLI before 1.44.78 (v1) and 2.34.29 (v2) on Unix-like systems where the umask has not been configured to restrict file permissions (the default on most systems) may allow other local users on the same host to read credentials written by certain CLI subcommands (aws codeartifact login, aws iam create-virtual-mfa-device, aws deploy register).
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to AWS CLI 1.44.78 (v1) or 2.34.29 (v2) or later. |
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in DeepCool DeepCreative v.1.2.12 and before allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted file
Insecure permissions in the AdminController.AjaxSave() method of PPGo_Jobs v2.8.0 allows authenticated attackers to arbitrarily modify users' account information.
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in lin-CMS v.0.2.0 and before allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the login method in the UserController.java component.
Insecure Permissions vulnerability in e-trust Horacius 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the password reset function.
This issue was addressed with improved permissions checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5. A malicious app may be able to gain root privileges.
This issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 16.7.8 and iPadOS 16.7.8, iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, macOS Monterey 12.7.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5, macOS Ventura 13.6.7. An app may be able to bypass Privacy preferences.
The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in Safari 17.5, iOS 16.7.8 and iPadOS 16.7.8, iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5, macOS Sonoma 14.5, tvOS 17.5, watchOS 10.5. An attacker with arbitrary read and write capability may be able to bypass Pointer Authentication.
A downgrade issue affecting Intel-based Mac computers was addressed with additional code-signing restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.5. An app may be able to bypass certain Privacy preferences.
A logic issue was addressed with improved restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.5. An app may be able to gain root privileges.
This issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.4. Entitlements and privacy permissions granted to this app may be used by a malicious app.
A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in macOS Tahoe 26.3. An app may be able to access protected user data.
A flaw was found in the Pulp package. When a role-based access control (RBAC) object in Pulp is set to assign permissions on its creation, it uses the `AutoAddObjPermsMixin` (typically the add_roles_for_object_creator method). This method finds the object creator by checking the current authenticated user. For objects that are created within a task, this current user is set by the first user with any permissions on the task object. This means the oldest user with model/domain-level task permissions will always be set as the current user of a task, even if they didn't dispatch the task. Therefore, all objects created in tasks will have their permissions assigned to this oldest user, and the creating user will receive nothing.
Insecure inherited permissions in the NVM Update Utility for some Intel(R) Ethernet Network Adapter E810 Series before version 4.60 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
IBM Security Guardium 12.1 could allow a local privileged user to escalate their privileges to root due to insecure inherited permissions created by the program.
Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Application before version 20.0.1021 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable local code execution. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts.
Authenticated arbitrary file write vulnerability exists in the web-based management interface of mobility conductors running either AOS-10 or AOS-8 operating systems. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated malicious actor to create or modify arbitrary files and execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.
Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Graphics Software before version 25.30.1702.0 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege.
