CVSS v3.1 |
| pgjdbc, the PostgreSQL JDBC Driver, versions 42.7.4 through 42.7.13 pads a value that is shorter than its declared length with bytes left in its send buffer instead of zeros, and the server stores those bytes as part of the value. The bytes are messages the driver sent earlier on the same connection: SQL text and parameter values of recent statements, which on a pooled connection can come from other requests. Each padded value can carry up to 8192 bytes of this traffic, or 16320 bytes on a connection with GSS encryption. The padding happens when an application declares a length larger than the data it supplies, through PreparedStatement.setObject with a ByteStreamWriter, CopyIn.writeToCopy, PGCopyOutputStream.write, LargeObject.write, or Blob.setBytes. The driver accepts these calls without an error. An attacker who can make the application store such a value and read it back can collect earlier traffic. Applications whose declared lengths always match their data are not affected. Versions 42.7.3 and earlier pad with zeros. |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 4.0.0 until 4.1.2, ExrBaseDecompressor.UndoZipCompression accepts a nonempty ZIP or ZIPS inflate result that is shorter than the EXR block's required size. ZipExrCompression.Decompress reconstructs the returned prefix while ExrDecoderCore processes the full expected block from a buffer obtained through Configuration.Default, allowing bytes retained from a completed prior ImageSharp operation to appear in decoded pixels. Applications that expose pixels or output from the later attacker-controlled EXR decode can disclose process-local image data. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. |
| Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. In versions 5.1.0 through 5.9.2, stringify and uneval functions serialize a typed array by emitting its entire backing ArrayBuffer rather than only the view, so serializing a Node Buffer, whose backing store is a process-wide shared pool, discloses up to 64 KB of unrelated process memory, including bytes from other in-flight requests. In a server-side-rendered framework such as SvelteKit or Nuxt, a public page whose load() returns a small Buffer, or that reads a small file, can therefore ship another user's request body or Authorization header in its HTML without authentication. Because this occurs during serialization, it fires on every such render and is not mitigated by the parse/unflatten prototype-pollution and denial-of-service guards, which only apply when parsing untrusted input. As a workaround, convert Node Buffer objects to Uint8Array before serialization. This issue has been fixed in version 5.9.3. |
| Sensitive Information in Resource Not Removed Before Reuse in ASUS Armoury Crate driver allows a local user to disclose sensitive information from uninitialized memory via a crafted IOCTL request that bypasses the driver's security verification mechanism.
Refer to the '
Security Update for Armoury Crate App ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits and Throttling and Sensitive Information in Resource Not Removed Before Reuse in the ASUS System Control Interface driver and ASUS Business Manager allow a local administrator to disclose sensitive information via crafted IOCTL requests, which, in severe cases, may lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) on the system.
Refer to the '
Security Update for ASUS System Control Interface ' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| Scriban before 7.0.0 fails to clear the CachedTemplates dictionary when TemplateContext.Reset() is called, allowing cached templates to persist across reused contexts. Attackers can exploit request-dependent ITemplateLoader implementations to access previously authorized template content from earlier renders without triggering TemplateLoader.Load() again. |
| In OpenStack Ironic before 38.0.1, the autodetect deploy interface may fail to run cleaning immediately after enrollment with, or changing to, the autodetect deploy interface. |
| libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Prior to version 1.22.0, two bugs in libheif chain to leak process heap memory as visible pixel values in decoded grid images. An attacker who uploads a crafted AVIF/HEIC file to any server-side image processor (WordPress, Sharp/libvips, ImageMagick, etc.) can recover heap data - including library function pointers sufficient to defeat ASLR, or any other secret - from the publicly-downloadable transcoded JPEG/PNG/WebP output. Local attack vectors are also possible. Version 1.22.0 fixes the issue. |
| pam_usb provides hardware authentication for Linux using ordinary removable media. In versions 0.9.1 and below, the xfree() memory release helper in calls free() without first zeroing the buffer contents, releasing heap-allocated buffers containing sensitive data — including one-time pad bytes read from disk — without clearing, leaving the sensitive content in freed heap memory until it happens to be overwritten by a subsequent allocation. On a system where a use-after-free condition exists, or where a heap inspection primitive becomes available, this could allow recovery of pad values or other authentication material from freed memory regions. This is a defence-in-depth requirement consistent with prior hardening work in this codebase (GHSA-vx6f-rrqr-j87c applied explicit_bzero to some pad paths; this issue generalises the pattern to the central deallocation helper). |
| Systems with microprocessors utilizing speculative execution and branch prediction may allow unauthorized disclosure of information to an attacker with local user access via a side-channel analysis. |
| SD-330AC and AMC Manager provided by silex technology, Inc. contain an issue with a sensitive information in resource not removed before reuse. An attacker may login to the device without knowing the password by sending a crafted packet. |
| AnyBurn 4.3 x86 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by supplying an excessively long string to the image conversion function. Attackers can paste a large buffer into the source or destination image file fields and click Convert Now to trigger a crash. |
| Lyric Video Creator 2.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by processing malformed MP3 files. Attackers can create a crafted MP3 file with an oversized buffer and trigger the crash by opening the file through the Browse song functionality. |
| Ease Audio Converter 5.30 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the Audio Cutter function that allows local attackers to crash the application by processing malformed MP4 files. Attackers can create a crafted MP4 file containing an oversized buffer and load it through the Audio Cutter interface to trigger an application crash. |
| Sensitive information uncleared in resource before release for reuse for some Intel(R) NPU Drivers for Windows before version 32.0.100.4023 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an information disclosure. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable data exposure. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (low), integrity (none) and availability (none) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| The Honeywell Experion PKS and OneWireless WDM
contains Sensitive Information in Resource vulnerability in the component Control Data Access (CDA). An attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to a Communication Channel Manipulation, which could result in buffer reuse which may cause incorrect system behavior.
Honeywell also recommends updating to the most recent version of
Honeywell Experion PKS:520.2 TCU9 HF1 and 530.1 TCU3 HF1 and OneWireless: 322.5 and 331.1.
The affected Experion PKS products are
C300, FIM4, FIM8, UOC, CN100, HCA, C300PM, and C200E. The Experion PKS versions affected are 520.1 before
520.2 TCU9 HF1 and 530 before 530 TCU3. The OneWireless WDM affected versions are 322.1 through 322.4 and 330.1 through 330.3. |
| Sensitive information in resource not removed before reuse in some Intel(R) TDX Seamldr module software before version 1.5.02.00 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Potential information leak in bolt protocol handshake in Neo4j Enterprise and Community editions allows attacker to obtain one byte of information from previous connections. The attacker has no control over the information leaked in server responses. |
| CEWE PHOTO IMPORTER 6.4.3 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by importing a specially crafted image file. Attackers can create a malformed JPG file with an oversized buffer and trigger the crash through the import functionality during the image processing workflow. |
| In Eclipse Jetty, the class JASPIAuthenticator initiates the authentication checks, which set two ThreadLocal variable.
Upon returning from the initial checks, there are conditions that cause an early return from the JASPIAuthenticator code without clearing those ThreadLocals.
A subsequent request using the same thread inherits the ThreadLocal values, leading to a broken access control and privilege escalation. |
